I do think after the Leeds game and them doubling up on miggy and coming away with a point then we will be looking for a more attacking trippier quality LB so we have that option on both wings. Watched an arsenal game over the festive season and they scored one down the left, one down the right and one through the middle - that’s where we need to be eventually. The flip side of course is arsenal concede a lot compared to us so there is a trade off

I also saw a media piece a few days back saying City aren’t expecting Perrone to do anything just yet - he’s for the future to replace players going on. If this is true then City won’t be in a rush to sell just yet.

It always happens on the back of us getting good results - we had Palace and Bournemouth doing it after the Man City game then after the Leicester and so many positive articles about us having a strong restart etc Leeds do it as well. Best time for it to happen though as for me this needs to be the area we work on in transfer market / training to break down as it’s cost us at least 6 points in games listed above alone.

That depends on our league finish among other things, if we do finish in CL for arguments sake then that opens more revenue and allows us to charge more for shirt sponsorship etc. This gives us that little more wiggle room with ffp and targets will be more attached to us because of our bigger league finish and CL

We also had a great defence last season when he played and got a lot of 1-0 victories. Why all of a sudden is it trendy to slag off these players?

Can’t see anything but a defeat and not expecting anything - just get this game out of the way for me. Arsenal look the real deal to me this season.

You can’t rely on miggy to keep this run going - he was always gone get games where he doesn’t score. When Wilson’s not playing - an occasional joelington or Schar blinder won’t get you through the season. Can’t wait for isak to return personally

Nobody’s pissed off and needs to get a grip - we’re just disappointed, it’s normal after playing at home against an expected to win game and feeling like dropping 2 points. It also tells other teams to play this way as well as it’s now palace, Bournemouth and Leeds that’s been awarded for lining up this way at SJP.
