Watching Fulham game - mitro got 42nd championship goal for this season (off topic I know but it’s literally just gone in)

Not convinced on arsenal game as we never get anything from arsenal and they have this thing with spurs going on at the moment so won’t be pulling any punches. Yet I’ve still read comments from people (I know you’re not one of these saying this) “we should be getting something from arsenal game”. Why “should” we be getting something from that game?

Even though it’s 500-1 unlikely we get relegated, the old Newcastle supporter in me is wondering if 43 will be enough as I think we’ll lose the next 2 games.

Also - just checked, since playing us Everton have picked up 10 out of 21 points so with 18 left to play for I expect them to get another 9 points and be more than safe. (added for transparency) they have also only picked up 10 out of 33 points so I could be well off.

Agreed, I’m not one for conspiracy theories but I’ll be interested to see if Chelsea are so uninterested in shooting and simply pass it around for the first hour against leeds when they play them. first half Chelsea performance doesn’t sit right with me - they just didn’t try to score.

Don’t know but lampards evertons haven’t been playing with this much determination. Their game plan might be horrible and dirty but it’s working and I think this is how they’ll play the rest of the season now to grind out results. I expect them to get another win here and can see them getting at least a draw against Leicester as well - Everton will be safe in my opinion.

don’t have to beat. Villa twice to finish above us, just once then beat us - that could get them finish on same points as us with better goal difference. i know we’re very much safe but until I hear mathematically impossible I won’t totally relax.

Wasn’t just a jammy win against them though, they beat us and got a draw against Leicester. Games they have left are against Brentford and the such so I think they’ve got enough personally.

Leeds have 12 points to play for and last 12 points they got 5. The 12 before that they got 6 so at a very very rough guesstimate- I think they’ll finish on 39 or 40 points and go down personally.

Spot on about the refereeing - I blame them more as Everton will try these shithousery tactics but it’s down to the refs to say “no”.

Their game plan clearly works though - we couldn’t beat them nor could Leicester, Liverpool struggled for 60 minutes and Chelsea are struggling. question is - will it be enough to keep them up or will Leeds let them off the hook?

With that half blocked shot - Everton have done more to score in this half than Chelsea have
