I also agree with kaka on every point. If we get both then let him go for me and it’s a much better use of the funds, may even have some left over to get a CB or CM.
-
Loan him to Burnley for me - a season in the premier league and they’ll play him whenever he’d fit

I know it’s easy to rubbish reports we don’t want to believe and buy into the ones we want but I’ve read countless reports that he supports them and has spoken to so many Man U players and that’s where his hearts at, I want to believe it but I just can’t.
-
Probably not as much as they’ll rotate him a lot more and look after him - to be honest we flog the shit out of him.
-
I don’t think they said they want 50, I think they said it would take at least 50 but won’t sell him unless they have a replacement.
-
I don’t buy it either

So you think Sweden won’t pick him? For who exactly? and when he has one year left you think the top teams won’t still take a gamble on him for an affordable price? I may be wrong but he’s only proven three things two me he’s guaranteed to score goals, he’s guaranteed to get injuries and he’s now proven to be petty. I personally think they will still take a chance

It’s also backfired plenty of times, huge gamble when we’re lowballing other strikers willing to not pay the going price so will start the season with just him in this “fuck you - you will play “ state of mind, trying to prove we’re a big club by doing this in a CL season and those extra games may just prove we’re not yet and effect us in the transfer window going forward. We need to be be firm yet professional about this, if he goes then fair enough but £120M they can go fuck themselves.

So you want what ? Someone dirt cheap but young whose guaranteed us a load of goals in the premier league as well, if we held out for that we’d be looking at going into the season with no replacements, ah hold on that’s exactly where we are at. Something needs to change and if nothing does change then all that will change will be our league position.

Don’t give a shit with people saying it’s too much - just go to Brentford, offer another £5m and say “look this makes you save face a little as you can say you got more out of us” as buying him removes so much pressure from the isak situation as we at least have a striker who knows where the net is in the premier and has an amazing injury record as well as seems he’ll run through walls for the cause for us at the moment. It also pushes the issue of a long term replacement a few years down the road, time to get proper leadership perhaps and buy cheaper with more potential with the long term in mind. i know in simplifying things a lot but in a different field at work as a devops engineering lead I am forced to think this way sometimes when solving urgent issues.
