I did see that yes, he closes down very quickly. Perhaps it's just his running style and the fact he's so tall makes it look like he's slow to speed up. Either way that Liverpool defence is one of the quickest in the league, he'll have alot of chances against more sedentary defenders.

Anyone listened to the recent Wilson and Antonio podcast? They were discussing the best 5-a-side combined West Ham and Newcastle. Antonio is absolutely deluded, somehow seems to think West Ham are superior in every position. Good to hear Wilson sticking up for his teammates though. Can't wait to hear the podcast after they play against each other.

Strange you mention you thought his acceleration was quality, what I saw was the opposite. I actually thought he was perhaps slow to start but very quick when up to speed.

Made over 30 appearances in each of the last 4 seasons for them. Not in Conte's plans this season but has still made 2 appearances this season so far although admittedly only about 15 minutes overall.

Douglas Luiz seems like a sensible one for us. That's if ofcourse we can't get Tielemans. Both different types of midfielders but either would add good quality to our squad. With Luiz only having a year left, it's surprising we haven't made a move for him before today, that would make me assume we aren't interested at all.
