Terrier would be a decent signing, can play across the front 3 which would be a huge bonus and means he wouldn't be coming here and just waiting for Wilson to get injured, he could slot in on either side and cover Wilson only when necessary. Adds alot of adaptability to our attacking options.

I was excited about Pedro, thought he could grow into a good player but Everton being interested has dampened my spirits, he must be shit if they want him

OGS wouldn't be a bad shout for Leicester. Especially if the club really are up for sale and they want to get someone in who won't rock the boat much.

The city will meltdown. There will be scenes at St James's I've no doubt about that. Brazilian flags all over the place.

Transfer Deadline Day may actually be exciting this summer! I'm all in for it, can't wait. I'm half expecting something outrageous and half expecting absolutely nothing.

Sunday League level wind assisted goal straight from the corner for Villa there.

If Miggy goes we still need Pedro and Harrison and a Striker and probably a Centre Midfielder to cover Shelvey. Make everything so much harder for us regardless of how much we could get for Almiron.

#44 Kamara for Aston Villa. Is that the same Kamara we were "potentially" looking at. He seems very clumsy so far, constantly fouling.

I think the proximity to the end of the window hikes the price up past what most would say is reasonable. Added to that the fact you'd be selling him to another Prem team. £25m is about right but I'd rather him not leave tbh, unless you get a stupid offer of £35/40m which clearly isnt going to happen. It would weaken us far too much in terms of squad depth to let him go for a fee that doesn't take that into account.

Didn't want the player to know he was recording/filming him I imagine. Was trying to catch him out (which he kind of did).
-
The timing of this is the worst thing. This happens 3/4 weeks ago and you would let him leave. But if you let him leave now you're making a difficult end to our transfer window even more difficult. Suddenly you need to get ANOTHER player in ontop of the 3 we already need. So that would leave us with a week to get 4 players in, not easy for any club to do.

C'mon Ashworth just bite the bullet and give Luke Edwards a call, he knows the score, he'll get Watford to pull the plug on this.
-
According to most sources ive seen he's injured but could change before Wednesday. I forgot about Ritchie as well. Considering he almost came on against City I would imagine he's in line for a start somewhere in the side.

I think you're right to have faith in Howe. I was totally underwhelmed at the prospect of having Harrison here but seeing how he's done so far had given me a realisation that the club is now run be people who know far more than me about player recruitment. He's young enough to adapt and perhaps they see soemthing in him which means he can play multiple positions or learn to be flexible.

Joking aside, we've had worse teams than that start Premier League games for us in the last 5 year. Doubt Botman will play and be risked what with Targett still recovering but we'll see. Any chance we see Kell Watts start this or perhaps Dummett at CB and Bondswell at LB?

As he rambles his way to Newcastle.

Sven Botman: Out for up to 8 weeks after minor Knee operation (Howe)

That was more obvious yesterday and perhaps this is the reason that he wasn't getting in ahead of Burn. -
I do understand that and it is frustrating but I think they are just trying to cover their back with the whole offside line drawing thing. As far as I'm concerned I'd rather they take an extra 2 minutes and definitely get the correct call on whether its offside or not. Its either offside or its not, there's not a gray area but there are some closer calls than others. A toe offside is still offside as annoying as that may be to us all who want to see more goals. They can't flip flop between giving and not giving those goals as that wouldn't be fair, so I see it as consistency if they always give those very close calls as offside.

The most similar player to him is probably his fellow Brazilian Fabhino, although you could argue maybe Joelinton is more aggressive in pressing and tackling, Fabhino is much much better on the ball so perhaps it's even overall.

More than ever that game against Man City shows why we need VAR. As many have said, we'd have one less goal and one less player on the pitch if not for VAR and likely go on to lose. I know people will complain about the Schar/Stones penalty not being given but the problem is not with VAR in that instance because the referee has already made the decision not to give it so VAR won't overule unless its clear and obvious. For whatever reason it seemed the ref and linesman were waiting for any opportunity to disallow a goal or send one of our players off, VAR thankfully prevents that from happening by being there and allowing all to see the workings of it.

Yes, weirdly enough I looked into this after I saw his goal against West Ham. Haaland and Bolt (when he got the record) are both the exact same weight and height. 6ft 5in and 94kg. From what I could learn in 5 minutes online research.

The way Pep speaks about Howe and Newcatsle is the reason I hate Klopp, I hope that makes sense to everyone. Although Klopp did go up a few points in my estimation after having a pop at Agbonlahor. Either way my point is that I'm pleased we have Howe who I think is now going to be getting far more credit than he has done rather than people just immediately throwing in the fact we've spent a few millions since he came in.

His right thigh has now scored more for us than his right foot.
