Plenty will close this weekend. Not chain stores and franchises but some people will be off work now because of this. Especially anyone who who works at a football ground.

There certainly is historical precedent for cancelling sporting events due to the death of Royal Family members. The only reason I can see for this weekend not being cancelled is if they are aware of when the funeral will be. So if the funeral will be due next weekend and therefore those games next weekend would have to be cancelled then they may possibly think its best to continue this weekend and just cancel next week's fixture instead. Otherwise you get to a point where an already compressed fixture scheduled gets even more stacked up if you cancel 2 weekends of fixtures in a row.

They'll still be training and everything else will be as normal just won't have a game. Bruce ain't manager no more.

No point discussing this game now, will probably be played in 2023. Atleast we should have a fully fit squad in time for Bournemouth.

Would be nice to see Bruno and ASM back for this. However we've got a very goof looking run of fixtures coming up now so I'd much rather them be given another week to be certain there's no risk and we can go in these next few fixtures with as close to a fully fit squad as possible.

No reason not to include Shelvey if there is a free squad place for him. Would seem odd to leave him out if there was an extra space.

No reason a loan player can't be committed to the club but only be here for a seasons loan. The two things arent impossible to coexist. But its understandable why you'd want a loan player to always have the potential to join permanently.
