This could all change in the next 7/8 hours but assuming we get Burn and Targett in I'm happy with the look of the back 4. Trip Lascelles Burn Targett Obviously Schar or Fede would be preferable to Lascelles but he won't be dropped. The Midfield is the trickiest area to consider as we've only had Bruno come in and we definitely needed more in this area. Joelinton Bruno Shelvey That would be our most likely midfield 3, with Willock and Longstaff being rotated/subbed in for various games. The attacking front 3 is the most changeable (other than ASM). This is depends on Lingard coming in as I think he is a certain starter on the right if so. Lingard Wood/Wilson ASM Obviously Wilson starts ahead of Wood when he's back but who knows how many game Wilson will actually be able to play in the rest of this season. Almiron and Fraser could come in and player either side or its possible to switch to play with a 2 up top and 1 in behind.

Lindgard over Alli anyday. Can't wait to see the Burn deal officially signed. We are desperate for a CB and we still don't have one yet, however close it may be.

We could make a hell of a 5 a side team with CAM players if this goes through.

Nunez seems more like a first choice option rather than a alternative. But he would be insane as unlikely as it is.

Its a difficult one this, especially if it's true regarding his concern over game time. That's his perogative and quite clearly he's improving whilst playing every game at Reims so can't blame him for second guessing it. Plus he's 19, he may not want to leave his he country just yet. I'd love to get him here, I think he'd bring a massive boost to our attacking options and he'd be that spark of energy we'd need up front.

There's still a high possibility that there could be a signing no one is expecting! We've been linked with so many players, it's unlikely but I'm still half expecting something to happen out of the blue.

Reports seem all over the place with this one. Some suggesting he's already have a medical/on his way for one and others now saying it's dead as the player is unsure on the move.

I'd love both Lindgard and Ekitike tbh. We need pace upfront still, Lindgard would replace Fraser in the line up straight away but Ekitike would be fantastic as another striker option.

Is this guy suitable for getting on the end of balls over the top/through the defence? Or is he not that kind of striker.

Yannick Carrasco deal seems to have legs still. Has a release clause for around €60m. Us and Spurs still interested.

There's definitely more urgent areas to address than GK, however if this is alongside another 2 + Burn then I'd be fine with it.

Burn seems the only certainty now! How many more come in and who the fuck they are is anyones guess at this point. Zapata would be the top of my list currently other than another decent midfielder. Targett on loan would be decent also aslong as that wasn't our only signing tomorrow

I do agree and with Wood replaced with Wilson that's out strongest XI but he wont be leaving Shelvey out anytime soon.

Dembele on loan would be a nice one to finish off with. Ideally would like another CM but I think that's unlikely .

Or Dembele? Much quicker than Lingard but perhaps not as smart. Having ASM on one side and Dembele on the other make runs in behind and running at defenders as well would be frightening.

He'd be the type of player we need in terms of leadership and heart but he's a donkey in his defending ability.

Manq and Lewis are perfectly fine as LB options for this season aslong as we get a better left sided CB in.
