Big Jo again!! Wtf is going on. Give him the #9 shirt back.
-
Masterstroke from Howe once again. Perhaps Big Joe can play up top.
-
Who do we have that would provide that quality though? Shelvey? Wood? Almrion? Shows the desperate lack of depth we have in this squad.
-
Was it Krafth? His are awful, rarely reach the edge if the box. I wish he wouldn't bother trying the long ones.
-
Bigging him up for his move in the summer perhaps. I'm also surprised how many people have been bemoaning a lack of striker in this team today yet also bang on about how much they don't like Wood. Can't have both right now, it's him or no one until Wilson is fit.
-
We only have 2 "strikers". One needs a rest as he's played every game since he joined in January and Howe clearly doesn't want to play Gayle, so here we are.
-
That's just not true at all. Because we are safe from relegation now doesn't mean all these next games are meaningless. They matter for the players who want to prove themselves for next season and they matter to Howe in trying to create a winning mentality to carry forward to next season.
-
Or even swap Joelinton and Willock. But I do think that lineup looks more likely than what a few media outlets are suggesting.
-
Interested to see how we do without Shelvey. That Midfield looks alright actually but Longstaff doesn't have the passing range. The front 3 is an odd one but I get the point in swapping Wood for Joelinton, he's the only other player who can hold it up and win the aerial battles.
-
We've definitely got the best Bruno!
-
Definitely 10th, only 9th if Leicester don't win. And only 10th for a day if Brighton win tomorrow.
-
Correct decsion I think. Gone into his back, that's 100% a foul anywhere else on the pitch so should be a penalty no question.
-
Looking at it I'd be annoyed if we weren't awarded that as a penalty. Barged into his back and potentially stopped him getting a shot away.
-
Man Utd still shit defensively, even with Maguire out. Should've just gone 2 down.
-
Norwich will score, I'm fairly certain of that, Pukki has had a decent season and they have been scoring more in the last few weeks. I'll go for 3-1. Wood, Almiron, Murphy.
-
They've got Leicester today. So could easily go either way. They also still have to play Man City and Liverpool.
-
Nick Pope anyone? If Burnley go down he'd be available for certain if he wants a chance of going to the World Cup. Solid keeper, Prem experience, England squad player and 3yrs younger than Dubravka.
-
I would say Leeds fans are already nervous and have been for a while. Villa haven't really been mentioned as being in a relegation battle this season but I think they are and certainly will be if they lose today. Having to play Burnley twice is huge.
-
Are Aston Villa fans getting a bit nervous? If they lose today surely they will be dragged back into it somewhat. Especially considering they still have to play Burnely twice and their own form is pretty poor.

I do agree that I don't think we will fall foul of FFP rules with this new ownership as it would require complete stupidity to do so. However I'm sure Everton thought the same thing and they are a whisker away from it. You are right there's definitely something to be said for whether any clubs will actually want to buy the players we want rid off and I think actually that may be one of the most difficult jobs this summer (clearing squad spaces for new signings).
-
The funds from players like Hendrick, Clark, Hayden, Fernandez and Gayle will all add up to a reasonable sum that will help us adhere to FFP. Just 3million on average for each of those players adds up to 15m and that's nothing to sniff at, because regardless of the billions our owners have we need income from player sales to help stay withing limitations over the next few years. I understand that removing players from the wage bill and the squad is also important but of the 2 options I know which I'd pick and which one benefits the club more.
-
Impressive stuff. Especially considering how much longer Rice has played that position over Joelinton.
-
I wouldn't, they can buy him for sure, wouldn't give a shit about that. But we need the funds for players like Hendrick. He's done well in the Championship these past 6 months, he's worth a few million, not a useless loan to help out cabbage head.

It does seem louder than it has done in previous years and for what it's worth I also think it's much louder than it needs to be. On another note, I noticed Wor Flags post something about Level 7, what's the plan there? -
The absolute fucking cheek of Bruce if he thinks we would ever entertain the idea of sending him a loan player, ANY loan player no matter arguably the best one we could send out. Ludicrous!
