Statistically he isn't. Ranked 15th in Premier League for Aerial Duels won and has actually lost a fair few more than most CBs. Pinnock is the one Brentford have who wins the most. Still 20 odd behind Wood though.

Best not to risk him if he isn't 100%. We are going to need him for Brighton and Southampton games, they are winnable but will be extremely tough.

Wood needs to start scoring. These Brentford CBs aren't as dominant in the air as the last couple of teams we've faced. He should get a chance or two today, just needs to put one away.

Agree with this and said the same thing while watching West Hame last week. This isn't the same team as when Bruce was here, we aren't reliant so much on just giving it to ASM and hoping something happens. Obviously he's still a huge player for us and when he isn't playing we are weaker as an attacking threat but he isn't the be all and end all anymore.
