  1. I'd be very curious to see the demographic of the aforementioned poll. For instance, who were the 18% of people who said they'd stop supporting Manchester United should he return. For no other reason than to see if there's a trend between gender, age, those with families, those with daughters etc.
  2. Thick as shit. Prior to the Manchester City rumour, he was still getting paid 100K a week (I'd assume), with a career on an upward trajectory (i.e. young enough for a top move and not declining). You'd assume that his money would go much further in Brazil too, rather than the UK. If you can't take care of family earning that kind of money, I don't know who can. Pure and simple, it's greed.
  3. Yes mate. Antony's ex-wife Gabriela Cavallin is allegedly preparing to file a police report in England, accusing him of domestic violence..
  4. His interview technique and the way he phrases questions, positions arguments, interjects, dismisses points and shifts the argument from macro to minor to suit himself is straight out the Piers Morgan, Jeremy Kyle, Simon Jordan textbook. All fucking smug unbearable idiots.
  5. They've made huge huge errors all the way through. Wonder how they'll handle the Antony debacle...
  6. James O'Brien is a hypocritical cretin. Let me be clear in saying it's absolute disgusting and abhorrent what Greenwood did and he deserves a severe punishment. However, quite frequently O'Brien wants to take the liberal view of rehabilitation, second chances, developing as a person, learning from lessons and ensuring work for all. Then, when faced with an argument of "so you want him to stop work completely?", He interjects, dismisses and changes the argument to nonsensical, irrelevant sub arguments of "what if he's 30?" Again - all for the punishment that comes Greenwood's way. Those audios and pictures are vile and no-one is defending him. But O'Brien is a hypocrite of the highest order.
  7. Even Garth Crookes managed to pick Tonali and Isak
  8. If Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal or Man United were in an 'even game' that was end to end and won 5-1, everyone would be raving about how clinical they were and be discussing how their ruthlessness is the hallmark of a good team.
  9. @r0cafella nothing much in the way of content Newcastle United are keen to sign Chelsea left-back Lewis Hall ahead of competition from Crystal Palace. Hall had been expected to sign a six year contract with Chelsea before going out on loan to Palace but Newcastle are open to buying the 18-year-old. Chelsea's Marc Cucurella and Arsenal's Kieran Tierney, who is wanted by Real Sociedad, have also been considered. Hall has made 17 first team appearances for Chelsea since making his first team breakthrough during the 2021-22 season He was named Chelsea’s academy player of the year for last season. However, his game time looked set to be limited at Stamford Bridge this season, with Mauricio Pochettino having Ben Chilwell, Cucurella and Ian Maatsen at left back. He is also capable of playing in midfield, and his versatility could be a major asset for the Eagles this season The 18-year-old has represented England from under-15 to under-21 level.

  11. Heartbreaking to listen to... So many people in similar situations, too, as a result of that catastrophe
  12. That made me laugh far more than it should have.
  13. No idea, but it didn't stop them signing a 8+1 with Caicedo...
  14. True, but you have a very short shelf life as a footballer. Chelsea will be offering him the standard 150k, 8 year contract Vs Liverpool's 4 year 120k contract. Huge reassurance for him and his family and he can stay down south. We all know that after 3 years, if he wants out of a contract to move on (either because he wants to leave or Chelsea want rid) he will get it.
  15. Luton Sheffield United Nottingham Forest. Wolves Everton I think theyll quickly find themselves in a dog fight for relegation between 16th-20th. They're all shocking. Not much better, but with enough to find their way to 13th-15th being... Palace Burnley Bournemouth
  16. That pull on the arm as Stanway was running through was as clear as yellow as you'd see in the men's game. No effort for the ball at all.
  17. I reckon if Wiegman smiled her face would crack, man looks more sour than Mourinho on the bench..
  18. Every time I say his surname my sofa levitates...
  19. I'll never forget the majestic chip over Jen's Lehman's head... Even O'Shea looked surprised
  20. Oh, please. Chelsea give away £110M, Brighton buy Lavia for £50M and make £60M profit and Liverpool left high and dry EDIT: it can't happen, it's too good!
  21. Liverpool taking 3 bids to get to 45M for Lavia and are caught wanting to chuck around 111M on Caicedo.
  22. Will love it if he blames Saudi Arabia for inflating market prices too, given half his team was sent over there
  23. Kind of, but their options are limited due to the relegation and everyone will know that..
  24. But you'd think that the Rice transfer includes the standard "English Player Tax"....
