I can see us possibly taking some city youths in the next year to 3/4 with that guy Paul Midgley coming in who was their head of youth recruitment. Wouldn’t be the worst idea taking the countries top prospects at ages from 16-21 just look at the likes of Romeo Lavia etc

Defensive Mid Trossard/Maddison type Back up RB/RCB. With regards to RCB I’ve been very impressed with Ronnie Edwards at Peterborough who they tried to tout to us when we gave them Kell Watts.

2 really good shouts. However having watched Ajax this season a good few times 2 players who massively impressed me have been Mo Kudus (nearly signed for Everton in the summer) and Kenneth Taylor. Would also love to sign Jurrien Timber he can play RB and CB very similar to Lisandro Martinez play style. At CB Botman height would compliment him very well.

Bit unfair on the SPFL many players that have come over from Australia haven’t made the grade when coming over to the SPFL granted the standard is getting better but it’s a bit of a retirement home for players on the wind down. The player with Kuol in the video came back up to Scotland and couldn’t kick his own arse and now he’s a full Australian international… however with regards to Kuol I’m very excited to see what he can do for us with teams like Barca ready to buy him he’s obviously got something so was delighted we knicked him first.

Maddison and a top class right sided centre back to come in and compete with Schar. Also as mentioned before a suitable young back up to trips (Harrison Ashby) he was mentioned in the summer. 1 or 2 of they Brazilian wonderkids would be nice too.

I’m not saying go out and spend 100 million on players. I’m meaning like go out get the key targets and maybe back ups that we want without the constant fuss of “FFP” which is rarely mentioned when other clubs target players. FWIW I’m happy so far with our January and summer business so far and how far we’ve come but I’m also on the basis to keep players like Bruno and Botman here who we showed massive ambition to get and no doubt will want minimum European football then we do have to edge the boat out a little more. All you can ask from a Newcastle fan is improvement which we’ve done but if we want to be in Europe we’ve got to make the moves. If we signed a big marque signing and covering the positions we all know we need/want then it’s a 10/10 window.

Yeah it is getting kind of annoying everyone worrying about “FFP” when other clubs don’t seem to care. If we really are bothered then why not loan to buy and make it mandatory. All signings we make these days are paid in installments too.

I’d take Harrison for 20 mil even for 30 mil max. Excellent with both feet provides good goal contributions and can play on either wing or wing back.

As said before I’m a massive fan of Paqueta he really is top class. He’s in that kind of world-level with Bruno and could go to a top club and slot in, him coming here takes us to a new level. Splash the 50-60 mil on him. The rest of the 2-3 signings can be loans of players like Dennis for 20 mil and improve our depth. For me added with Paqueta if we could add Dennis/Cornet as well as a CHO or someone else on loan I think we’d all be extremely happy.

Elliot Anderson too we need to keep a pathway for top talents

Based totally on nothing except PSG let a lot of superstars leave I’d take him still young scored plenty goals and cuts out him going to another club and becoming a star and being worth 50 mil in 2 years time.

For a fraction of the price to get in a player of the quality who is proven in the PL in a poor Burnley side and Ligue 1 where we pick up a lot of talent and arguably better than our wingers except ASM it’s a great signing. Also as spoken about before he can play anywhere across the front 3 and in behind the striker as well as LWB or LB it would be top business.

If Pacqueta is available we have got to go all in for him. He’s a superstar and takes this team to a new level. Add in CHO or even Diaby if that’s possible but they 2 could start on the right and also play left too. Possibly Broja on a loan to buy. That would be more than enough to challenge top 8 in my opinion. 6 new signings and if there is anything left a right sided Centre back.

I’d love to see Hudson-Odoi here I think he’d do class here.

I really like Willock, if given the opportunities I think he’ll be a star this year under Eddie, you can see he was really starting to hit form again before his injury.

He can play RW too and can even play as a forward he’s just a very talented attacking player.

I think although they may be available for a reason that it’s sensible to sign some of these possibly high rep players for low money which they are available at. Just one or even 2 but these players could come in and transform the team rather than shipping out 40-50mil on a risk.

Personally I’d say so but for others maybe not. Certainly wouldn’t be my first option of course but he is better than most PL defenders.
