  1. I really dont think he is THAT bad at RB. He would only be a 3rd choice and in any realistic scenario only play a few games before we could find a replacement in January. But sure, if Tino and Krafth got long term injuries the day after Trippier left things arent going to be looking good.
  2. Murphy has also played RB on desperate occasions. Not optimal by any means, but its not like we are fucked if Trippier leaves.
  3. Having watched the highlights published by both Newcastle and Spurs i have to say that i changed my opinion. We deserved to win. Other than shots that were easy keeper food(even the one they scored at) they only had one decent chance, while we had several and should have had a penalty. Lots of things to improve ofcourse, but also lots to take with us going forward with being very solid at the back and efficient in attacking.
  4. I mean we lost 11 away games last year. Yeah we cant assume to beat villa twice and Arsenal at home, but surely there are lots of other ones we can hope to improve upon.
  5. 4 points would be excellent yeah. We have to be realistic, we have had no indication that our lackluster away performances have improved so far.
  6. It is, but you know Howe. He wants to have some time with the new players(atleast the young ones) before he gives them time on the pitch.
  7. It was weird not seeing him come on today, something must be going on behind the scenes?

    Dan Burn

Disregarding those mistakes i would agree than Burn was more important, but I just cant disregard those.

Thought Tino was excellent myself. Atleast in defending, but also should some glimpses in attack.

He was immense, but you just cant give him motm with 2 such huge mistakes.
  11. They were lucky to get as many points as they got last season, so wouldnt be surprised.
  12. Like I said, Man Utd winning that first game was a blessing in disguise. They arent going anywere with this manager.

I agree that Burn is good, but we now have a team way to stacked with people who cant pass and make themselves available for a pass.
  14. Most satisfying match I have watched for a long time. But already knowing the result? Id say avoid at all cost.

Usually dont mind his bad kicking, but when we also have Burn and Krafth infront of him who have no idea what to do with the ball at their feet it ruins to much. The age when CBs and keepers only needed to worry about defending is long gone.
  16. The first and last 15mims were competetive imo, the rest were all Spurs.
