If Hall has a great game against city in the midweek im gonna be pretty pissed at Eddie -
If he gets back to his best someone will surely pay £100m. Kinda sucks that its capped at that amount in todays market tbh. Also it can be triggered at times when it doesnt suit us, like the end of a transfer window.

Our midfield isnt creative enough atm for us to have a left back like Burn who offers so little in attack. Especially when Tripper lately has been somewhat lacking in his offensive contribution aswell. Wouldnt swap out both at once in a premier league game though. -
He is new to the country, dont speak the language yet and are coming in to a team that itself look a little lost atm. Id say giving him some time would be fairly reasonable.

Champions League 2023/2024: Group F (Newcastle, Milan, Dortmund, PSG)

How much for a win? -
We did put up a hell of a fight in defense. But we still had Milan players tripping themselves over trying something fancy in our box. We arent getting out of that alive when we face Mbappe.
-
Yes lets judge his ability in the transfer market on the players who has played 0-6 games for us and not those that made us qualify for the CL last year. Botman, Bruno, Pope, Isak, Burn etc has all turned out to be excellent signings.
-
I agree that he seems a little lost at times. Must be something that can be worked on though.
-
Wasnt Tonali known for running all the time at Milan? Thought that was one of his strenght.
-
Think the talk of a poor start is more about the performances rather than the points accumelated.
-
Milan`s attackers were key in us keeping the clean sheet.
-
Im thinking that PSG will run away with this group. So yesterdays result was massive for qualifying to the knockout stage. Dortmund are there for the taking.
-
Agree with that, main reason is little attacking threat coming through central midfield.
-
Ofcourse he is, we are essentially lacking one player when we are attacking. Making it so much easier covering our wing and not letting them get in dangerous positions.
-
So nice to have a manager who just says what "everyone" sees.
-
Also doesnt help his compusure that we look a little lost as a team aswell atm. We have seen glimpses of his quality, sure they will come more often going forward
-
Fantastic result and a great fighting spirit in defense. But we cant deny whats right infront of us. Quality on the ball is totally abstent, San Siro or not.
-
I care more about the result than the performance. Getting a draw away is huge in this group. Its not the same as playing an away game in the premier league
-
We did have 2 periods last year where we looked clueless in attack aswell, so not to worried.
-
Good result atleast
