It's not like we got those players on the cheap. And if we actually had turned Isak's head before the window shuts that would be one thing, but we have no idea when he will be either mentally or physically fit to play for us again. If we do end up not getting a striker it would no doubt be a horrible window, but I'm still a believer until the window shuts.

We are having more games this season with CL. Isak played more than enough last year as it was. And Gordon is so much better when coming in from the wing, even though he does a decent job upfront when he is inform.

And we should have moved on from targets a lot faster instead of getting strung along. Totally misread our situation with a fatal lack of urgency. Now here we are. 4 days until the window is closing and we don't have any striker that wants to play for us with a CL campain coming up. No amount of excuses can justify it imo.

I know we have been a little unlucky this summer, but not getting a single striker in when our only striker told us he wanted to leave 2 weeks before the season ended is inexcusable tbh. We definitely need new people in to take charge of that department.

Surely we must be getting someone when we have shown ourselves to be so desperate that we are willing to bid £60m for Strand Larsen. There must be some clubs out there who likes cash.

Yeah sorry I havent been caught up in the pessimism that has infected this forum. Thought we looked great against Villa and Liverpool, just need a couple of strikers or one striker and Isak returning to the fold and we are golden.
