I think they've priced us out of a deal at this point. Yesterday it was reported that £30m would get him and that seemed close enough to being reasonable, maybe even at a push towards the high £30ms. But going upwards towards £50 - £60m is fucking madness.

But now DC has been offered triple his wage and has had his agents negotiating with Sevilla so he can leave?

Not convinced like, we chased Botman and when news came out that the deal wasn’t gonna happen all the news on Carlos started picking up.

Something doesn’t add up here, why keep moving the goalposts for an extra few million if the player is already unsettled and has asked to leave? What’s the point on risking the buyer walking away over an insignificant amount and being left with a pissed off player for at least half a season?
