According to the FFP rules, Tonali's cost will be 14M every season + 10M in salaries for the next 5 years. If Newcastle have 100M to spend, I assume they can go for another 2 or 3 top class players without pushing the finances to the extreme limit.
-
If they also add the Turkish Messi, it will be pure entertainment. Even neutrals will watch them.
-
The Newcastle revolution is starting to take shape: Botman, Bruno, Tonali and Isak.
-
A player for the old projetc, after Howe's miracle this season, the club need proven top players to stay in the top 4.
-
Italians... full of emotions.
-
Isak had a release clause of 60m. For 50m euros Newcastle could get players like Amrabat or Lorenzo Pellegrini, not Tonali.
-
But if the club is after players like Botman, Bruno and Isak, that is, young players that are not on the radar of the big teams, the negotiations should not take long.
-
You can't compare the cities of Roma and Milão with Newcastle. Not even 200k p/w will be enough to convince him.
-
Maguire, McTominay and Gordon. Apparently Eddie Howe reactivated his Bournemouth past. The owners will have no mercy on him two years from now, he better get things right...
-
1.88m! EH is looking for physicality and height.
-
Botman, Bruno or Isak calibre should be the minimum required. With Champions Legaue should be no room for Ekitikes or João Pedros. This is an opportunity to jump 2 or 3 years ahead of schedule in the process of putting the club at the top.
-
Most of these players fit the Botman, Bruno and Isak profile, but they should also go for a big proven player just to make a statement of intentions. Someone like Osimehn, Mané or Neymar.
-
I think they will make up for this loss in Caicedo's value. Good luck to anyone looking to sign him, it won't be less than £70m.
-
I don't believe it. Even Nottingham Forest can spend €150m, any figure below £200m will be a big mistake and a missed opportunity to establish the club in the top 4 right now, not later.
-
Maddison and Szoboszlai would be a similar combination to that of Man City with David Silva and Nasri. The focus will not be on running around, as it is now with Almirón and Joelinton, but on more sophisticated passes and tiki-taka. I think you can put the two on the same team.
-
Timber is just 1.78m, I think Howe is looking for NBA type of players that can play football as well. Anybody below 1.85 will be considered small.
-
Kovacic and Phillips sitting on the bench is another level of squad depth. Rumours about Alphonso Davies joining them as well. Pep is going for the quadruple next season.
-
Maybe Howe will go for Caicedo. He fits the "hipster" profile of wonderkids raising to be future stars like Botman, Bruno and Isak. Szoboszlai is in that shelf too.
-
Anthony Gordon followed by Scott McTominay is cause for concern about EH's plans. He needs more elite players than these two.
-
I've watched Milikovic-Savic play several times and he's a little slow for the Premier League. He is a kind of Pogba who plays more advanced as a shadow striker. The hype around him was monstrous at the time of the 2018 World Cup, but he was very bad. Think about it, at the age of 28 he still hasn't managed to leave Lazio. There's something about him that doesn't appeal to the big European teams, unless he's being sold for a "discount", like now.
-
Dominic Szoboszlai is 1.86m tall. Newcastle will have the highest team in the world if they keep this up. Just imagine with Kim (1.90m) and Kephrem Thruam (1.92m).
-
Astrologically I'm a saturnine, I'm a negative person overall LOL. Even with my beloved club Flamengo.
-
It might be because I'm a neutral from Brazil, I'm not a Newcastle fan. I just like to post on certain football forums. Am I welcomed here? LOL

Wood is one dimensional, Costa has a lot more technical capacity, he suits better Howe style.
