I also really liked this one from the following season. Always think of it in my head as the 'Rondon kit'. Was a good year, had the throwback hoops for the away shirt as well.
-
Is there actually speculation I've missed on Noon taking over the front of shirt sponsor? Or is this just for mock-up purposes? Because you're all getting my hopes up for a sexy kit next season.

Sean Longstaff (now playing for Leeds United)

Absolutely was. Club has put out through their trusted journos (Caulkin, Waugh etc) that the only reason Gordon happened in Jan is because he was a long term target who they saw an opportunity to get in that may not come up again. -
Jorge: Ok Manuel, so we have 3 clubs very interested in you. Liverpool, Newcastle, and..... oh, Wolves... Interesting.. Ugarte: *sigh*

Smart move, especially if he plans to play outside of England for most of his career. England managers in general, but especially Southgate, seem to forget the likes of Tomori and Balogun exist.
-
Well that's the Maddison/Barnes moves off then after that display.

Aye, whenever I start feeling too nervous or stressed about the run-in I keep reminding myself that we are guaranteed Europa League next season at least. Even at the start of this season if you told me that I'd have been amazed. Compared to the past 10+ years where it's just felt like a slog, I'd take this feeling any day of the week.
-
Aye, though I think realistically if that was the case he'd be trying to keep a low profile.

Keith Gillespie couldn't half cross a ball.
-
Aye, don't mind all white sleeves as much as others seem to. And would go nicely with the supposedly white socks. That being said, think it's nailed on to be the striped sleeve version.
-
Aye. Can see us being one for sure. Think there's a good chance the relegation battle is done before the last day. Ironic given how mental it seemed a couple months ago when it was basically the entire bottom half caught up in it.
-
Aye. Obviously hindsight is 20/20, but if we had setup with Joe on LW and either Wilson or Isak central I think we win the game. Joelinton would have followed Ayling in/already been back there, and then him being LW means he isn't there to give away the pen. Obviously this is where depth is an issue, because who the fuck plays CM in that scenario lol.

My feeling at the time, and granted I haven't seen it since I watched the match on the day, was that it was poor from Trippier to let the cross come in, Botman and/or Burn should have dealt with the aerial ball, and then Isak shouldn't have stopped following in, which did for some reason. Sure, maybe Pope could have done a little better with where he pushes the ball, but of all the errors, he had no where near as much control over his as everyone else did over theirs.

I think in an ideal world they'd have been hoping to have secured CL if not by now, then certainly on Thursday, and Bruno could have gone off to get this ankle issue sorted and had the maximum time to heal up before pre-season.

This is now the biggest/scariest game of the season. I just have a feeling given how both sides play that it's going to be a wild one. Praying for a 3-2 in our favour, but could just as easily go their way. We just need to pull a Mourinho. Not so much in our tactical approach, but just find any way we can to win.

Feel like Brighton are shooting their shot this Summer. Rather than signing unknowns they mould into world beaters, they're adding some established nous to go alongside what they already have.

Keepers didn't get close to anything at the end there. Worrying. -

Yep. They're past the point of being able to take a draw. If we remain patient they will leave openings the longer the game goes on. -

Farewell sweet/raging prince. -
Does feel like Diaby could be this window's Botman. Someone we have been chasing for a while who finally comes in. The being said, hoping there's truth to the Nico Williams rumours, would prefer him. May not be quite as good at the moment, but given he is two years younger I think he could have a higher ceiling.
