  1. So is this the return of the intense, into'em NUFC? Or more defensive comedy to come? Let's see...
  2. Is that actually a goal to put us in the lead? From bloody Murphy?!! You just knew it!
  3. All of the possession, zero of the goals. Horrible defending. Said they'd score first. Now let's see what we're made of.
  4. Good work from Willock there. Hope he's back to his best.
  5. Think they'll score first. Then it just depends on which NUFC turn up. Hope the atmosphere doesn't go flat for long periods. I'm still reasonably confident of a positive result, but it'll probably be nervy and maybe a hard watch. NB - I'm shite at predictions, so there's always that.
  6. This type of performance does nothing to dissuade me from that nightmare scenario...
  7. I can't watch this game, and I've only got Merson's blatherings on telly, so I'm relying on you lot to keep me informed...!
  8. One thought that I'm sort of clinging onto - the finals of 1998 and 1999 were led by two very different managers (Dalglish and Guillit). We've now got the same manager for two finals in close proximity, so hopefully the lessons learned will be more embedded this time. Whether that actually makes a difference remans to be seen.
  9. Haven't laughed as hard since this pearl...
  10. That would have been an amazing goal.
  11. 2-0 Villa. Ange excuse book just caught fire.
  12. Any of these at home would be nice: Millwall, Ipswich, PNE, Cardiff, Plymouth. Doncaster and Exeter too if they get through. I only say home tie as we do enough bloody travelling, but if we're away to any of these then that's also decent. Would not like Bournemouth, Fulham or Man City. Would fancy our chances against Villa/Spurs, Brighton and potentially Forest. Kind of indifferent to Palace, Wolves and Burnley. We could have a memorable season in the making if we play to our strengths. Shoot me later if it all goes wrong.
  13. Maybe that bloke was on Homes Under the Hammer? Bodged his renovation and blames Dublin for it?
  14. They were thrashed within an inch of their lives by the mighty Green Army.
  15. bang bang bang... WAAAANKERRRR! Today's live TV has been a lot more entertaining than I expected.
  16. Maybe Ange didn't mean THIS second season?
  17. Anyway, great result for them. Have a soft spot for the Ginsters munching, tractor driving kernts. I fucking love it when the mersey reds are shat on from a great height.
  18. Were there a couple of F bombs on the telly there?
