For a while there was ample hope, but it just seems we've lost the ability to put the ball in the back of the net. If this was in October / November, we'd be well on top. We have a team that tries... we just need a team that can persevere throughout a whole season. Still... there is hope. An early goal in the 2nd half will change it, but Christ alone knows where that's coming from. Still love this team. HTWL!

Goals were soft, but we have been playing well. We just seem to lack that killer instinct. Goal for us before half time would shake it up but I don't see it, sorry to say.

Switched off my phone, the Twitter notifications ping off about 30 seconds before I see what goes on on the TV. Ordinary games, I wouldn't mind so much. But not this one. I need to watch this as though I was actually there, warts and all. And as for the commentators / pundits... the players won't hear them talking pish and that's a small comfort. Howe says he's tried to insulate the team from all the noise - that's the way to go, right enough. Karius may have the game of his life today. Bloody hope so. No negativity from me today. We're here, and that's amazing. GIVE THEM HELL!
