  1. If we could avoid passing to a Man Utd defender where there’s acres of space it would help
  2. Never understood how anyone watches an hour of ‘build-up’ to these games in any case, especially when they hoy in a ridiculously one-sided panel. Sky brought that in as filler. Five mins is enough. Build-ups are for FA Cup Finals.
  3. Do Arsenal give a shite about us?
  4. FACKINBLAHBLAHFACKINANGEYOOKANTBLAHBLAH I think that’s what was said, anyway
  5. His decision making has been gash so far
  6. Spurs don’t half overplay everything
  7. Reminds me of Liverpool v Blackburn in 1995 this. Crowd clearly torn between two outcomes
  8. My preference would be to stay at SJP - if SJP could be redeveloped to bring it up to modern standards and could be expanded enough to make it worthwhile. I’m surprised they didn’t get 100% ‘stay at SJP’ given the way the question was presented. It’s how I would have voted - and I’m one of those who think that the best option would ultimately be to move. But the question was disingenuous. Pollsters and psephologists know that how a question is worded is vital - it’s why they tend to be careful in their phrasing.
  9. For what’s it’s worth I think Castore’s designs have been pretty solid. No idea re quality or price as I’m not a gadgie who buys them, and I haven’t got kids to buy them for. Just wish they wouldn’t fuck around with black and white stripes - it’s not hard. They can easily fart around with trims etc so that they can push another new one out every two years.
  10. Well, that and manufacturing them in sweatshops
  11. Yep, with you 100%. I have deep and serious concerns with who owns our club, the govt of KSA is pretty much the worst of the worst, but I’m scratching my head at Nick McGeehan missing the point by a considerable margin.
  12. There shouldn’t be schemes like at all. Feeding children through a charity is reprehensible. The state is responsible - the UK is wealthy enough to feed children.
  13. They're still a good side, despite their being poor relative to the last few decades - it isn't an easy place to go. But we couldn't pick a better time to play them than this
  14. Likewise, and did it the time. 95/96 away kit was drab. Home kit was top notch, though.
  15. Not sure why anyone is shocked (if the kit is real). adidas's designs were almost all either mediocre or utter shite previously. I suppose how much they're paying is the important bit - but I wouldn't expect real quality or effort from them
  16. 01/02 - 02/03 kit was utter shite Not my recollection tbh
  17. A point likely guarantees European football next year. I would absolutely take a point now if offered - though I absolutely believe that we can win
