  1. Yep. Wharton would start ahead of Joelinton for me, never mind the other three
  2. Yep - we played right into their hands the other week
  3. 8,000 empty seats for a semi final played between a club which hasn’t won it 1957 and a club which has never won it I bet all the seats are taken for the final
  4. Great stuff this. And I hope Man City stuff these in the final - I don’t give a shite about big clubs hoarding trophies when the other options are the likes of Villa or Palace. Fuck ‘em.
  5. Bolt’s top speed will be about 45km/h over a short distance 👍
  6. Over what distance? That’s Usain Bolt’s speed over 100m

    Joe Willock

I still think the lad has talent, and that games like today aren’t exactly perfect for his all-action athleticism and box-to-box running style. Still, it’s been a while since he looked at the level, so he’ll need to start showing form again in the not so distant future otherwise I reckon he could be out the door
  8. Who needs facts when you can just play make-believe? Also, I was born in July 1982 - Sunderland’s average position in my lifetime (and I’m not a young’un) is 26th in the league - so their average is a ‘championship club’. Delewdid knackers
  9. It’s an embarrassingly big gulf right now. I doubt three clubs have ever been relegated quicker than this lot.
  10. Looks all the funnier given he looks about 8 years old
  11. Pelanty everyday of the week in the modern game - as soft as shite as it is.
  12. The European Cup wasn’t stripped off them at any point - their French title was, though; that was the competition they were caught cheating in
  13. Sparta Rotterdam definitely adopted Sunderland’s colours
  14. It’s not like - we need to finish top five; Man City are a shoo-in - Villa are a threat
  15. Spurs fans likely wrote similar for several years in the 2010s
  16. I still think we have the hardest run-in. I still think we’ll make it but the cocksureness of some of a few days ago should have disappeared
  17. Man Utd and Spurs will be back in it soon enough. Money talks - they’re light years ahead of us, Villa and Forest
  18. Just to add - they could actually have got their ‘related party’ sponsorships inflated initially, rejected by the PL, then agreed at a lower price, knowing that if Man City succeed then they could backdate and potentially take action against the PL We shouldn’t be surprised as others have mentioned, KSA is like any other dictatorship; inefficient, slow and not particularly good at paying the bills on time
