  1. NUFC didn’t pin them back, Bournemouth played scorched Earth football and surrendered about 75% of the pitch.
  2. I don’t get booing at all tbh. Pantomime wank. Grown adults booing is embarrassing.
  3. Not sure about the booing off at the end like, though that wasn’t exactly great stuff. No wins in six though. Flat atmosphere, flat performance. Teams are coming to SJP and playing against us as if we’re a top side - which we aren’t, of course. If there’s a budget in January, it should be chucked at a winger. We desperately need to replace Almiron, Fraser etc.
  4. I’d be taking off BDB for Botman. Or Targett and moving BDB out wide - Targett hasn’t had one of his better games here
  5. Still love the fact that people still haven’t worked out that the 70th minute isn’t the minute which starts with ‘70’
  6. Feels like that was coming tbh. Sucker punch stuff. All came from a tame pass from Targett. Fuck knows how we’ll break these down now - it’ll be 11 men in the 18 yard box
  7. Poor sod. He’s the definition of powderpuff. Works his bollocks off mind
  8. We’ve not been used to teams playing like this for a couple of decades at SJP. Showing NUFC a lot of respect - problem is we’re a year or two away from being that side. Still think we’ll win this though.
  9. Bournemouth doing a good job of closing here. It won’t last though - they’ll run out of steam. We just need to be patient and not make any daft mistakes
  10. Yep, the failure to sign a good winger in the summer is telling. We’re a winger away from being a good side for me.
  11. There ye gan, silence observer impeccably, ‘God Save the King’ … not exactly bellowed out. Amused me when they zoomed in on the crowds - most not singing, some of those who were were clearly singing ‘God Save the Queen’ …
  12. Yes, the bench isn’t great, but we knew that. It’s going to take a couple of years and several windows to build up a decent squad. Frightening to think about just how broken we were - Ashley handing out big contracts to second tier footballers meant we probably had the weakest squad we’d had during his horrendous ownership. Bruno is back though, three points today, ho’way you beautiful bastards
