Looks like it’s just two of us. Thought that was just poor goalkeeping.
-
Yep, like I said it’s going to play out like a warm up. Argentina will view this as a chance to play at minimal effort, and Australia will be busy at the back but won’t maintain a high press. The SBS commentary over here in Australia makes it even worse. Craig Foster is a terrible mixture of platitudes and pretentiousness.

It would be perfectly feasible to build a new stadium for £300-400m - especially at a site like that of the current arena You don’t need to match the Spurs ground spec, and you’re not building in a confined working environment in London
-
Who said a new ground costs $1bn? Wembley and Spurs new ground are not the benchmark Time for me to give up the day job as a civils estimator then
-
No danger of that here

This is going to play out like a warm up game I’m afraid, which will suit this ancient Argentina side.
-
Expanding the current stadium is liable to cost the same as a brand new one. It’s one or the other.
-
Yep. 5th on averages; 4th in total tickets sold. And bear in mind that the four clubs who have higher averages - Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs - haven’t had long stretches in the doldrums like us.
-
A successful NUFC comfortably sells 80k+ tickets. NUFC’s support base is much bigger than WHU’s. While the 100k+ on the waiting list for STs in the mid-90s would never have actually been realised, it’s a cert we could almost double attendances if we’re any good and the pricing is correct.

It must just be an ongoing waking nightmare for them. I’m not empathising here, just stating facts.

Remember folks, sometimes the ball actually crossing the line before being crossed for a goal is also a good thing ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2EIE3Q8RuJs -

I'm in Australia and therefore missing that bitter twat implode. Is he seriously suggesting that the second Japan goal shouldn't have been given? Is that based upon his ignorance of the Laws of the Game, or ignorance of geometry? -

Bollocks to the Laws of the Game - what does Common Sense* say should happen * NB Common Sense can only be applied by PFM pundits. You or I do not have Common Sense in terms of football -

I was saying to a mate before the WC that Japan and S Korea feel like 'proper' football nations these days, and not just there to make up the numbers; they produce some excellent technical footballers. Didn't see this coming though -

I'd say you're safe from a S Korea v Japan QF, but who knows given what's happening here
