Not sure where the ‘Leeds game plan worked’ craic is coming from - we must have had seven or eight nailed-on goal scoring opportunities. On another day that finished 5- or 6-0. Leeds were absolutely cack, especially second half. They were really struggling to contain us and couldn’t get out of their own half - that wasn’t a superb defensive performance, we were crafting chances with most attacks. Dead balls were a bit off today though. No-one should be worried about the league table at this point either - too much is being made of two points dropped vs Leeds. This side has every chance of putting in a real performance at Arsenal - and if we lose, we lose.

Honestly, the conditions didn’t help. Our passing was just a fraction off all game, and I think the driving rain and sodden pitch played a part in that. Still have to take one of those multiple chances mind. Leeds are starting to feel like a bogey team at SJP, which is annoying as I (like most right-thinking Geordies) utterly detest the cunts

Nah, just sticking to my pre-season expectations . And it’s made this season a complete delight - I’m not predicting that we’ll fall away, just saying that every game is completely stress-free for me. Far more enjoyable than looking at the table and worrying about what Liverpool etc are doing.
