  1. Tom Watson looks absolutely identical to Clarke, Play exactly the same aswell.
  2. Not exactly a fair metric if your giving kids one window to make a move to the PL is it? FWIW - Clarke is being heavily linked to West Ham, a team currently 6th.
  3. I said from the start he's not worth 30M, I think he's worth about 15-20M. I used the likes of Tonali / Gordon / Botman fees as an example because they went for double if not more than what he's worth, evidencing the fact they are better players than him at a similar age.
  4. Yes, Hence why they are playing for a team in the CL. Jack Clarke isn't that level, but I think he will be fine for a lower end PL side.
  5. And i haven't once disputed that
  6. Aye, and them players went for 60M / 50M / 45M
  7. Well if you have seen him a few times you should know that he's a very good player for his age, homegrown and will be better with better players around him. 97 appearances with 44 goals / assists is a brilliant return. Alex Scott went for 25M, granted he's two years younger but has 88 appearances with 13 goals / assists in the same time frame.
  8. He's not worth 30M, but I also don't believe that one game just dictates how good a player is or isn't. The lot of them were shite on Saturday, It doesn't make them all bad players and unable to play at a higher level.
  9. We are well clear of FFP but we don't spend a lot so that's to be expected. We pocketed 10M on Stewart and rumoured to have got about 4M for Lihadji who went to Qatar, both deals late in the summer window so we really need some quality this window.
  10. One poor performance doesn't indicate we are absolutely shite and light years away. We are light years away from competing with a Prem team that's invested significantly and will continue to do so for years and years to come, That isn't realistically who we can look to be. Anyone who gets promoted now faces a huge battle to stay up anyway, So you might aswell go for it and the worst thing that happens is you pocket the cash to build and go again to try and bridge the gap for the next time you go up. You never know whats round the corner.
  11. It was probably one of his worst performances but he also wasn't given any supply or support to even have a go, Alese never overlapped and we had nothing on the right hand side to stretch the game so he was continuously doubled up on. He was up against a top class full back aswell.
  12. A) I honestly don't think any of them were very good, I think Neil was probably the pick of a poor bunch as he at least looked to get onto the ball and didn't just give it away like Bellingham or Ekwah. B) Isak is a handful for any defence nevermind ours, However I thought Joelinton caused us massive problems by drifting into the left hand channels to free up Gordon and we didn't know what to do. Once the game went 1-0 it was a stroll in the park for Bruno also.
  13. Well done lads, thoroughly deserved win, We barely had a sniff. Very disappointing performance from us, I expected a lot more.
  14. I think it is when you consider the person in charge of commercial has made several complete fuck ups since taking over, He's a Director on the board not some novice who's made an error of judgement on one occasion.
  15. Mixed. I think we will give you a decent game, I just hope our young lads don't either lose their heads or just completely shit themselves. The atmosphere will be heightened, Alot of people are frustrated and angry, but that will hopefully channelled in making the ground as hostile as possible. Fans don't have an issue with the players, they've gave us a decent few seasons since promotion from L1 and they're all a committed bunch. First goal crucial, Still expect you to have too much quality but you never know.
  16. It just shows how out of touch some people are that are involved in running football clubs. Judging by KLDs statement, He's put people in position and has trusted them and they've royally fucked up. Saying that, Steve Davidson who has been there for yonks has made catalogue after catalogue of errors. Only way Dreyfus can salvage any form of credibility here is to ensure whoever's been involved is sacked by this time next week.
  17. Shameful, Whoever let this happen should and hopefully, will be, sacked. We are an absolute shambles commercially off the field.
  18. Id rather Trippier plays against us than Livramento, fancy Clarke to have a go at Trippier with his current form / state whereas Livranemto would nullify him with his pace.
  19. You will win, but it might be closer than I originally thought.
  20. True. We should give you a good game and provided we don't concede early and implode it might be tight, but I would expect the extra quality to shine through in the end.
  21. Yep and it worked in difficult circumstances, inherited a team just promoted from League One and managed to get them comfortably a Championship side and ended up in the play offs. He was never long term and was a stop gap which allowed development of the younger players playing to a certain brand of football they want in a higher league. As mentioned previously they had Farioli lined up in the summer (Mowbray knew about it) but they gave him this season on the back of last years success. They've triggered him because they want someone better.
  22. It's almost like they believe the manager is underperforming with what he has available and they have sacked him.
  23. You can refute it for the sake of it, but the truth is that's it's working since it's been introduced.
