  1. I think all pubs within a mile of Wembley are prohibited from showing the game and are banned from selling peeve an hour before until an hour after. Unless things have changed - this came in after the Euro's fiasco in an attempt to stop fans without tickets congregating around Wembley. If I didn't have aticket I'd go round baker street or kings cross both be full of Geordies
  2. Marleybone is good an dquick overground train to wembley not far from baker street either
  3. Haha at least it prompted resignations. (Another) George Orwell was right - some are more equal than others. The club can’t really win here - simple fact is demand massively outstrips supply. Hopefully fan representative groups will step up now and act in the interests of all and not in any self interest,
  4. @SteVis right there would be uproar but I think it’s only fair to reward recent loyalty . I say this as someone who has over 400 but due to family commitments can’t go every away like I used to when I was younger. id make them drop off after x years (maybe 5). Man U do this iirc
  5. it’s also what happened to loads of younger lads I know of who went everywhere away but didn’t hold STs. Obviously they were using other people’s access but it was a subculture within our support that everyone tolerated until we became (sort of) successful
  6. there is allegedly a fairly high profile fanzine contributor who was using the points of a deceased relative of a prominent local journalist to get CL away tickets
  7. I have a bit more confidence this time now the freeloaders have resigned from the board.
  8. obviously the last line would have been fanciful under Rafa 🤣
  9. we used to have one years ago: ”Jacob Murphy hid mother comes from Birtley knew he was a Geordie so he came and sighed for Rafas mags” (Think it’s to the tune of it’s a heartache) replace Rafa with Eddie. Used to get an airing at away games at least.
  10. think Del Boy and Rodney when they’ve sold the clock and are leaving Nelson Mandela House for the last time
  11. you make some good points but the affordability thing is imposed by the (No) Gambling Commission who don't understand their remit or purpose as defined in the Gambling Act and as highlighted by the National Audit Office. I have skin in the game for transparency - and stake factoring / limiting I agree has gone too far but you want to look outside of the big boys (Bet Uk whilst they were Newcastle founded are now owned by MGM who acquired LeoVegas Gaming PLC) and find a niche punter friendly bookie. DM me if you want.

im sure he’s just a wum
  15. I don't think there's anything wrong if they do - but they should only include loyalty pints gained in last year or two to reward recent attendees. Whatever the criteria you'll never get 100% agreement and demand will easily outstrip supply
  16. least they wont be calling Brian Blessed for his opinion this year
  17. Prob start with ST who attended either Forest or Arsenal (A) as it should. Then ST with X points and cup scheme and so on

Was an entertaining game but most of the players on the field would be shown up in the premier league. It’s been said before but why do they (lower league sides) keep trying to play from the back when their players (defenders in particular) lack the touch and composure to do so.
  20. Charlotte from TF?

    Match Atmosphere

Rangers and Celtic are great when they’re away (especially v a team south of the border). If you’ve ever been to an old firm have its day and night from what they were like in the 80s and Celtic at home against anyone else is similar to palace imho - the green brigade stop but most of the rest if the ground is quiet. Been to more Celtic games than Rangers but assume there the same against st mirren and Kilmarnock etc
