Who would you class as an elite RW that we can realistically get? Gordon Isak "Elite RW", sounds dreamy.
-
Bloody hope he doesn't join then as that's quite the difference.

It would be mental if Phillips was a million miles away from Rice's level. That's definitely not the case.

Miley starting, I'm excited. -
Just accidentally went to page one of this thread and read a few comments before I realised. The turnaround with this guy is insane. The thread title alone made some people sick hahaha.

Can't imagine what it feels like Toulouse to Toulouse.

We had one player on the pitch with any real CL experience, Trippier. Then missing 3 players we'd class as CL quality, in Botman, Tonali and Isak. Nothing to be negative about that performance, more of a personnel issue than tactical for me. We're just having to play teams that have that extra technical ability and experience across the pitch. Nothing more to it, we'll be there in time, but for now I'm LOVING it!

WTF people exist that want us out of European competition? Madness, we need ever bit of experience in these competitions we can get, these CL games will have been huge for us.

I have to drop my kid off somewhere half way through the first half, then pick him up half way through the second half. Fuck sake man. -

Didn't know Eddie had been in contact with Schar during his time at Bournemouth... -
Gullit's son is on there somewhere. Think anyone worth it would've already been picked up most likely.

We've beaten Man U and Arsenal coming into this. They've just taken a hiding at home to Bayern. I'm going 0 - 2. The old early goal will be crucial, get their crowd dampened abit. I'm still pissed about Isak not getting to play against these! -

Do you think Spurs success currently might be because Ange hasn't been figured out yet? I agree that they will drop down a bit. Also going to throw this out there. I think we finish third. City 1st, Liverpool 2nd. -
Give him a ten year contract now. Not even joking, I don't want to lose the family feeling the entire setup has, and doesn't seem present at many other clubs. Oh yeh and he's a pretty good manager. I can't imagine liking whoever comes after him. We've got a gem.

Could the Saudi clubs sell to us cheaper than market value or would that be investigated? Tin foil hat on - pay the players enough that they will fake that they've flopped over there, so value drops, then we sign them.

Back to back victories against the Manchester teams for a lot of our squad players, that's going to do wonders for everyone. The confidence gained from those games will almost be like we've crossed a hurdle mentally, clearly we're more than just a solid starting XI.
-
BBC reporting it as "Superb Newcastle knock holders Man Utd out of EFL Cup". Nice to see us get some credit and not something like "Poor Man Utd slip up against Newcastle in the cup".
-
Roids. The evidence is there for all to see.

Getting him in for Burn at some point this season and changing things up slightly will be a great curveball for Howe to suddenly switch it up.
-
Is this lineup better than the usual one?!?!? Playing some sexy football.
-
Regardless of the end result here, I think we can stop the discussion of the lineup looking shitty and having no chance. Better to just enjoy the team that we put out as they're all our players still. Howe always gives us a chance!
