We in a phase (again) when there is not enough joy in watching us play. We have no press. Teams can just play through whatever attempt we make. If a team chooses to take possession they can pass for days and we don’t get close to making a tackle. I think we’ll win today but i I miss the days when we had a proper press and could put a team under some pressure. Now we’re just waiting for a break and every pass being perfect.

Few things: 1. The FFP rules run on a 3 year window. That window is going to include the time that the apt rules have been declared void (2021-2024). It feels a little off that the FFP calcs can include a period where clubs were forced to follow unlawful rules. 2. The PL approach seems clear to me now. They have knowingly put in rules that will be unlawful due to the director loans transition period. They need to make sure that the current rules are not declared unlawful until the transition period is complete. If they are they can simply vote in the same rules without the transition period. 3. We have to be submitting deals now (if we have no it already) that will be rejected such that we can use this for compensation later

The whole delay until the legal cases are resolved is bullshit. They did not delay last time that exact argument was used. They are delaying as they don't have the votes. The PL would have been doing the same as last time and working behind the scenes. My guess is they realised they could not bribe people to get what they wanted so went for the delay route.

I think they are muddling up the criteria for the additional transfer fee and the criteria to make the move permanent.
