    Anthony Gordon

Such a humble guy. Gotta give some credit to his determination and willingness to learn and improve. It's amazing what a good mindset can help you achieve in a short matter of time.
  2. Ben White doesn't watch any football because he actually doesn't like football. Same with Carlos Tevez. Crazy.
  3. Assuming he will be out for 12 months, lets try to look at it from the hyperpositive perspective: Lets say the spark was missing in the first months here because he had to leave Milan only due to these personal issues. Milan accepts our offer at a reasonable price, again only due to the circumstances. He gets a lot of love and support from the fans and the manager, which will give him tons of motivation to come back stronger, clear of the gambling addiction, and also wanting to repay the fans and the team + manager. In the short term it's a horrible signing in this case, but in the longer term we could end up with a hugely important player, which we possibly would never have gotten if it wasn't for this gambling issue. This is a lot of assumptions, just trying to see it from a different perspective. Obviously not ideal regardless, but there's still hope for a best case scenario if he gets suspended.
  4. I really wanted to take out Haaland aswell, but I don't have the balls
  5. Need some advice. I'm thinking that Botman either starts, or he doesn't play at all? So therefore I should just start him in my team?
  6. I suggest arguing with people on the N-O forum. Surely triggers some adrenaline.
  7. Isn't this type of injury usually more than a year? Didn't know that the Brazilian FA had to pay his wages now.. Ofcourse Neymar didn't wish for this to happen, but he's getting more than $200 mill to sit on his arse for a year.
  8. Toneys training ban was kind of mild.. It was 4 months, but starting from mid may. Lost like 1 or 2 weeks before the summer break. He was already back in training mid september, 1 month into the new season. Kind of unfair if Tonali gets a 50% training ban aswell, considering it will be 6 months inside the season instead of just 1,5 months.
  9. He could start an onlyfans account if he becomes unavailable for a while, especially if he can't even train. Gotta do something with all that leisure time. Could make a lot of money from that aswell, better than losing money on gambling and getting suspended.
  10. A bad injury is even worse considering you have to recover and be careful when back..
  11. Had fun seeing several Man United supporters being disappointed that Qatar pulled out. Bet many of them were complaining about our takeover.
  12. Toney even got banned from training with the team for 4 months or so..
  13. Well, I don't know.. Why would they wish to ban one of their own players unless it was justified?
  14. "I hope this gambling addition will save his life"? Are they trying to apply more gambling into his life in an attempt to save it? Worrying.
  15. No that's fair, but he still should've been on that list. That's why I brought him into the discussion.
  16. 117 mill euros. It says that many places, including transfermarkt.
  17. ^Me whenever I see a news update on Tonali
  18. You forgot C. Ronaldo to Juve for £105 mill at the age of 33. Lukaku was fairly close at £97.5 mill at the age of 28. Kanes price can rise up to £100 mill, deal made at the age of 30. According to reports, Liverpool rejected a bid of £150 mill for Salah (31) this summer. Prices have gone crazy in the last few seasons. If Bruno has an incredible season, we don't have the opportunity to play hardball over him anymore to squeeze out some extra money if he is ready to leave.
  19. Italian media who started the "devastated from being forced out of the club" narrative that everyone bought. So reliable!
  20. If all is booked in the current year regardless of installments or not, why does it matter that the money is paid upfront? Our owners have infinite money, pretty much the only thing that matters is the FFP limit.
  21. What if we buy a player through installments? It's just not evenly split between each year of the contract anymore?
  22. How does it count in terms of FFP? For the buying club, even if they pay upfront, the FFP money be split over the length of the contract. What happens if they pay in installments?
  23. I'm actually surprisingly calm about it, and I would surely not be if it was Botman, Trippier, Schär, Gordon, Isak, Wilson, Joelinton or Bruno. Longstaff would probably also be a bigger loss for us atm. I think even Almiron being gone would be a bigger blow considering his latest form, the lack of right wingers and also the injury of Barnes. I think Willock will do a better job when he's back than what Tonali has done. That being said, we literally just spent £55m on him, so ofcourse it hursts. And he hasn't even had the time to settle properly, so we don't know what that would look like. Obviously it could be a huge loss long term. That's hard to tell though.
  24. What a summer window this is turning out to be short term.. If Tonali gets suspended or doesn't play now, it's basically just the fullback backups left at this point until Barnes comes back.
  25. Fab keeps saying the clause is £100m. I hope it's not just £100m without any other condition.. Feels like a waste when we can potensially get a little more. Would like to know if there's any other conditions, and also what they are.
