  1. Yeah that's my point. They are making it seem like City did something special. They played against players who couldn't even run anymore.
  2. The thing that annoy me the most is that everyone is raving about what an incredible comeback it was and how insane it was to win it at stoppage time. I mean... If you had been following us the last couple of months then you would know that it would be way more surprising if that didn't happen at the end. Doing a comeback on us in the last 15 is nothing special right now. Couldn't be less surprised about it.
  3. Remember when we went from 19th place halfway through, to finishing 11th, and to then finish at 4th place next season?
  4. No unfortunately we are not in the top 6 position on the table. We are 10th which means we are the 10th best club in the league. Not good!
  5. Damn. We went from being a top 6 team to average in 1 month. 3 months ago we were superior to PSG, Dortmund and Milan. Things really change quickly, huh? Man City went from being the 3rd best team in England to being the 2nd best. In just 1 game. Crazy! But after tomorrow they might go back to being the 3rd best team..
  6. There surely has been some close calls after Trippier slipped up defensively last season. Some of them ended in a goal against, but many of them were cleaned up. So it's not really something new. People were commenting that he was not really good defensively last season. I think the slip ups has definetly been happening more frequently lately though.
  7. It's unlucky, but that's what often happens when we are under pressure for so long. Not that we can start attacking them when we are out of energy anyways.
  8. Unfortunately the chance of them scoring more on our defence is quite high.. Obviously. Who knows, maybe we can get more aswell.
  9. I'm sure many mentioned it, but Isaks tackle for the 2-1 goal.Got rewarded
  10. I don't think anyone would deny the extent of the fatigue issue since the Spurs game in december. Maybe I'm wrong though.
  11. Can't wait for de Bruyne to come on in the second half..
  12. I'm not a huge fan of Almiron, but his pressing gave us a goal at Sunderland and should've given us another today. I wouldn't blame that miss on him.
  13. If it wasn't for Almiron, the chance wouldn't even have happened. Gordon messed it up and Bruno hesitated.
  14. That was 6 days ago. Guardiola said this yesterday: “Kevin De Bruyne is ready to start and I can see he is very good and the trip to Abu Dhabi will do him good too. I saw him yesterday and he feels good and dynamic. He played well, better than the sessions before Huddersfield. He’s getting better.”
  15. They are running into some difficult fixtures in the next 8 gameweeks.
  16. Our 7th choice CM passed the fitness test so that he could start against Man City. And that somehow helps us a lot (unironically). Howay!
  17. It's a shame, without the Joelinton injury I would've been quite positive. Got some momentum from the derby and had 7 days of rest, on top of Isak, Dubs and Joelinton finding some form.
  18. He wanted to leave, that's the only reason. Maybe they couldn't guarantee him enough minutes for him to want to stay?
  19. Our defence is pretty darn old in terms of average age. Yet another reason to not spend money on old players right now.
