Heard that before. Once his agent shows him the salary, its a different story.

Delusional fans. Can’t believe the traction stories like this get. Feel sorry for anyone who wasted their time on that rumour. Ok, we nabbed Tonali, but right now we’re pinching Barnes and Livramento off two championship clubs. That’s where we are, folks. Back to reality

—————-—?——————— -Barnes—Pacqueta——Bowen- ——Palhinha——Soucek——— If they somehow got Barnes, Palhinha & a top striker with the Rice money, that’s pretty tasty.
-
That’s what YouTube videos are designed to do. They don’t show the bad bits.

Agree Problem is, with players like him, you don’t win leagues or cups, and you don’t get to the very top of European football, which is what this new ownership are trying to achieve. It’s a pretty simple decision really for the club, and it looks like they’ve made that decision.

It’s clever business by City. We should be learning from it. Ruthless, with an eye always on the future, and, FFP. It’s why ASM must go this summer
-
There’s more money, it’s just these are the deals that are active right now. ASM has always been seen as the key to unlocking the rest of the window. Him sold, allows Barnes & Livramento to come in and our accounts look good, as has been stated by Matt. We then target LB & CB. Transfers are about timing as well. A LB might be a priority, but transfers don’t always come in order, due to a number of reasons. Anderson, like Brennan Johnson, we won’t be targetting. PL prices are ridiculous, hence why we’ve targeted Championship clubs for Barnes & Livramento.

It’s what was rumoured yesterday, and what i was discussing with Exiled in Texas. Hold up is Ashworth not willing to give the green light on Barnes, until we have firm offer/agreement with Saudi club for ASM. Once agreed, both deals roll through. We then use the profit on Livramento to push through with that deal.
-
I’d imagine it would be Livramento. We’ve already had a bid rejected, so I think this is one that the club will revisit, once the Barnes/ASM situation has been resolved.
-
Few rumours saying the club are negotiating two deals, hence the stalemate and delay. Ashworth will not commit or pull trigger on Barnes, until a concrete offer/agreement has been reached with an unknown Saudi club for the purchase of ASM. Fees being discussed. LCFC becoming impatient with situation. WHU now entering into possible Barnes transfer, however player has stated he wants Newcastle move.
-
#Wolves to make improved £20m+ bid for #BristolCity star Alex Scott.
-
Always felt he’d be suited to WHU. Barnes & a striker, and that’s decent ———————-?——————- —Barnes—-Pacqueta—-Bowen—

Other French analysis I’ve seen - He was always inferior to Badiashile. Done well for Monaco, and now they want to cash in. Disasi is a tank. He is not quick, similar profile to Harry Maguire. Physically, he is a beast though and dominant in the air. Highlights are clearances. Technically, not great, should not be seen as a RB.

Kvara ain’t coming. I wouldn’t waste energy on this one
-
No doubting he has talent. IMO, we should steer clear though. Questionable attitude, and one who didn’t fancy joining our project over a year ago. Doubt Ashworth and co will want to revisit this one, given the work they would have put into that deal, only to be dropped like a stone once PSG called. He chose money, which says a lot about him, and it’s ended up stagnating his development/career. Just something about his character which I don’t think would be a good fit.
-
Don’t get the hype with Ekitike. They signed him, and he’s been crap, hence why they want rid. In a dominant side, in a tinpot league, he’s struggled and scored 3 goals in 25 games. Awful. Glad we missed out on him.
-
It’s also not the end of the window. Villa, once they’ve done their incoming business, will shift their deadwood for substantial fees, instead of paying them off. They have an advantage over us, in that they will probably shift Traore, Archer, Sansom, Nakamba, Davis, and possibly Dendoncker.
-
More outgoings at Wolves Dion Sanderson expected to join Birmingham from Wolves for about £2m plus add-ons. Wolves to receive % of future sale too. Stoke transfer news - #scfc have agreed an initial £1.25m fee with #Wolves to sign goalkeeper Matija Sarkic on a permanent deal
-
Saw that Brendan Rodgers wants Kieran Tierney. Could see that happening, if PL clubs think his injury record is not worth the risk.
-
Weird move for Willian. Loves west London, why bother going to Forest? Fulham trying to replace him with Callum Hudson-Odoi
-
I reckon Villa will eventually be forced to get near €45m for Diaby. Forest will want well over £50m for Johnson, which is the reason Villa are going for Diaby
-
Agree. Pulisic on board. Seems they’ve seen that Milan have pulled out of signing Adama Traore, and just gone with ASM as some clickbait
-
What I’m expecting and hoping, is that Ashworth is negotiating & lining up both deals right now. Need to seal the Barnes deal first, and then LCFC will feel they could have squeezed more out of us, once we announce a £40m/£50m ASM to Saudi deal.
-
That’s the problem. Johnson will be a rip off because it’s PL sides doing the transaction. Barnes is attractive because of the relegation. Unless we offload ASM for a huge sum, we won’t be going near Johnson at those kind of fees. That’s before a LB & CB cover.
