Ivan Fresneda, Cody Drameh or Max Aarons have been linked
  2. I think the only thing I remember about Targett last year was him getting absolute skinned by Iwobi at Goodison, falling on the floor, only for Pope to make a great save from DCL. That’s about it. All in all, he’s poor. Contract he’s on also stings.
  3. Chiesa posts incoming
  4. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no , no. lose Botman, and we’re stuffed
  5. not sure what Gallagher offers. Bit of a headless chicken, who’s got a great engine and runs/presses, but do we need more of that type, or do we need to start shifting towards more technically gifted players, who can unlock defences? I think the latter

    Joe Willock

I wouldn’t expect him back until September, in all honesty
  7. Yeah, no surprise EH looking at different systems. We aren’t a surprise anymore. Teams know our strengths & weaknesses, so we need to evolve. Last year, by nullifying Bruno, we really did struggle.
  8. Was awful, but it’s pre-season. Think Howe will bring him in slowly. For the first PL game, I’d imagine Howe goes with the tried and tested, and Longstaff starts.
  9. Have to say, looks the weakest bottom half of the PL for quite some time. Sheff Utd, Luton, Burnley, Wolves, Everton, Palace & Forest. Dreadful.

Yes, to the former, no, to the latter
  11. Raul Jimenez to Fulham being discussed. Then Elye Wahi could be loaned to Wolves, if that goes through

Or, I could be correct. It’s just an opinion, just like yours. ?

Think our initial thinking is that we could exploit them because of the relegation. Seems like home work wasn’t done on the sell on clause either. Going from £12m/£21m/£30m looks a poor negotiation to me. Looks sloppy, and now we look desperate, and they want to bend us over on the fee. I’d walk away and look at European targets. Better value, and no ? over a previous injury.

I’d say Tripps has two years at the top left in him. He’s a top pro, who looks after himself. Going back for a fourth time, we look desperate. Real possibility we get bent over here, which is surprising, given what line we’ve been fed with FFP. As good as he was, pre-injury, there’s no guarantee he’s still the same player. I’d move on. Frimpong/Fresneda. There’s more out there.

Yeah, shut this down. Move on

Just looks a messy deal. We’ve already gone from £12m/£21m/£30m, and now we’re still miles apart. There’s already an element of risk, given his injury. I’d walk away from this.
  18. Leao on the left & Chukweuze on the right is sexy stuff. That’s the level of wingers we need to be attracting, post, Almiron.

No chance Livramento starts ahead of Miggy. I doubt EH is even contemplating playing him there. Bruno will be pushed higher than Tonali.
  22. Elanga & Ona Ania god that’s awful business
