  1. True, but tell me a single Chelsea or United player comparable to any of these three in the last ten years.
  2. Regardless of the player's skills...according to Howe's tactics Wissa was the perfect replacement for Isaak. It's Wolte's purchase that has nothing to do with it (I like Wolte and I don't like Wissa but 4-3-3 is not suitable for the German).
  3. If we look at the last ten years, it's clear that City has the best recruitment team in PL... Talents like Rodri De Bruyne and Silva could have gone anywhere but ended up at City. Chelsea Man Utd and Liverpool have spent a lot, maybe more than City but often badly. Liverpool did well (but also lucky) only with Salah.
  4. 15 games but 424 minutes (2 goals and 3 assists)... I imagine he never started in the starting eleven, despite that Atletico fans would have liked to keep him. He's not a champion but those are the kind of players who have quality and can perform very well in the right Club. An example is Pulisic who performed exceptionally well here in Milan for three seasons.
  5. Yes I know... 90% of those writing here are asking for defenders but that's a problem that can be postponed until next summer. You need a quality midfielder NOW, and since Howe is a fan of a wingers system you also need a good winger... for €22 millions you won't find a good winger who can also play as a striker or second striker. Obviously Raspadori isn't Semenyo and never will be, but he's definitely better than all four of your wingers.
  6. Raspadori from Atletico Madrid to Atalanta for €22 million...a bargain. At that price, and considering your situation with wingers, he was a must-buy for you.
  7. Juventus would sell Gatti (CB)... Physically very strong and with his background as a midfielder he has excellent vision and is very good at reading the defense. He's a great header (a trait that allows him to be dangerous in attack as well) and has good technique with the ball. I think he could do very well for you and especially at €25 million (the money that Juventus wants) he's a bargain.
  8. Really? So someone in the Club read me ... I wrote about him a few months ago. Nothing has appeared in Italy, only Chelsea seems interested in him... there is talk of an offer of €60 million but at that price it's starting to look risky... then I'd prefer Palestra who would cost much less. About Nico Paz... i think it's not viable for you if you don't play the Champions League next year, but a player with similar characteristics and much cheaper than Paz is Soulé (2003 - AS Roma) excellent right winger and 10 too.
  9. RB: Marco Palestra (2005 - Cagliari) : Great physique, fast, technical and... infinite stamina !!! Very good at crossing and through balls, he's RB but he can play all over the right flank even as a winger... An incredible all-rounder to sign quickly because many are realizing that he is a real gem. LB: Honest Ahanor (2008 - Atalanta) : Same skills as Palestra but on the left side. He can also play anywhere on the left and even as a CB. He's a little less technical but he's only 17 and has enormous potential. GK: Mile Svilar (1999- AS Roma) : Last year he was the best goalkeeper in Serie A without any doubt...his relatively low price makes him a huge bargain for everyone in Europe and UK. The Dream: Nico Paz...if you'd signed him instead of Elanga and Ramsey you'd be 2° in the League. The day Howe abandons his 4-3-3 I'll open a bottle of Champagne !!!
  10. No, it's a serious mistake and he made them in Milano too... if you're the last man you can anticipate Pedro's play (but it's risky) or you stay away and wait for him to turn, he chose the third option of staying close to him which is always wrong in the case of the last man and high ball. Then he slipped (also because he didn't expect Pedro's movement) but conceptually the position he's holding is wrong.
  11. There's a lot of talk about him in Italy but in my opinion he's just a decent goalkeeper and nothing more. An excellent goalkeeper is Svilar of AS Roma.
  12. I've never been a big fan of Chiesa, I was of his father who was an incredible striker, but Slot's ostracism ( which would kill himself rather than let him play) is shameful. Now that Chiesa has saved his ass, Federico will sit on the bench again next game... He is certainly no longer the Chiesa he was before his injury but no one else in Liverpool has the will to fight that he has, and only for this reason he deserves to start.
  13. It was me... now he feels he has the trust of the team and the coach that he never had at Milan (not through Malick's fault). With you even a jerk like Leao would probably become like Ronaldo.
  14. I agree, I think De Zerbi could be an excellent coach for you...the important thing in football is not to have a Dutch coach.
  15. "Interista diventi pazzo" ( "Interista you're going crazy" )
  16. Since 1899.....only one team in Milano !!! The Devil's Kingdom
  17. Samuele Inacio (2008)...I saw him play with the Italian Under-17 team ; very impressed by him....goals, assists, dribbling, he's a 10 who can also play as a winger. He started out at Atalanta (which has always had an excellent youth system) and currently plays for Dortmund's youth team.
  18. Short interview with Thiaw... he basically says that he decided to leave Milan even though Allegri told him he would play.
  19. ...and bring Tonali home ! Sandroooo, I'm coming!
  20. Don't make the mistake of eating it in Rome, Florence, etc....only in some historic Milanese trattorias it's perfect. It's a much more complicated dish than it seems.
  21. They want nature, open spaces and wind on their faces.... we are much more interested in landscapes than cities.
  22. Nothing and no one can beat risotto alla Milanese with Ossobuco. Let's not joke or I might take a detour to Newcastle, belted with explosives and risotto, shouting "Risotto Akbar!!!!"
