It gives them a bit of respite on hating their club and themselves.

It was pretty large from what I seen.
  3. To be honest, I thought he'd been there longer until I checked. My point still stands, that a player with more get up and go, would have made more noise. Maybe he has and I've just not noticed.

I've been to the RVI with my daughter today and seen big Joe in stirrups. He looked in good fettle, though.
  5. I would have been delighted to have signed Phillips from Leeds. I genuinely thought he was a good centre-mid; excellent range of passing, good in the tackle and good positional sense, but the worry is that he's let his career stagnate without seemingly kicking up a fuss. Could you see Bruno happy to sit on the bench for big wages? I don't think he would. He strikes me as someone who's happy picking up his pay, without really doing anything, and that raises a big question mark for me. I do think Howe could reignite that fire in his belly, though, but only if the price us right.

No, James. Just been on Nick's LinkedIn there and I think he's the lead coach
  7. You were still boffing gas when you were 17. Give the kid a break. He's not the finished article, but he's done pretty well considering he's been chucked in at the deep end.
  8. Yeah, we were linked, too. Seems to have settled in well and would have given us a nice balance to push Bruno on a but further.
  9. This bit can't be true "when struck off Fofana's Lamboghini, Gaffney landed arse first on his sister Sonya's trumpet". Mad if true!
  10. Wait til you get the shits off the pie tomorrow
  11. I wouldn't even know which players to suggest in that position nowadays with pace, because my knowledge of football, especially European football is nothing like it used to be.
  12. Good positional sense, though, but I do agree. We get cut open quite often when we over commit and don't have any recovery pace when getting hit on the break, which happens quite often

My cousins son is the head of first team fitness and conditioning and he's been at the club before Howe started. He was at Southampton and came here under Bruce, albeit when he was quite young
  14. I think if we'd had more players available we would eait until the summer, but I reckon our hand is being forced a bit because of the injury situation
  15. I'd try to get Neves from Saudi
  16. He's been superb since he's arrived, just unfortunate with injuries. It annoys me more that my partner says he's got ginger hair, when he clearly fucking hasn't.

Poor lads never had a proper break since we signed him. He's been a breath of fresh air and completely proved me wrong. He's just gonna get better and better.
  18. I don't remember, mate, but I'm a bit tiddly now, so I'd have to watch it back.
  19. I think 3 of them were offside for it. Linesman done well, he was just playing to the new rules. Only reason he decided to flag early after that, was because Ederson wouldn't have got injured if he'd just raised his flag straight away in the first place.
  20. It's gonna take longer than people think to get to them levels, simply because we can't spend what we'd like. If anything, we're a victim to last seasons success. Hopefully we can keep building the infrastructure and then we can build on the foundations which are already being built, but if we don't win the league next season, they can all get fucked
  21. Yeah, his positional sense sometimes isn't the best, but I can overlook that because of his age, but overall, I think we've got a pretty decent player on our hands.
  22. He's never let us down yet. Poor lad has got to deliver the Herald and Post when he gets home aswell
