This is massive, of all our missing players he's made the biggest difference in recent weeks. I think we'd be through the champions league group if he had played.

Yet the team who didn't go for that mentality had far more chances and won the game? I didn't get it tbh, you can still go for the win whilst still keeping things a bit more tight and organised at the back. Our solid defence was the base for our success last season. What are we playing for this season then if we don't want European football?

The team was naive and didn't manage the situation at all I think its a fair assessment. Of course we wanted to win but still had time to do so, Milan were the ones going out and were going to have go for it, being that open and expansive committing defenders forward out of position and playing like we were getting beat was daft. We need to look at that in big games, cup finals, European games etc or we can get used to loosing.

Yeah I agree with this tbh, we want to watch good football but we also want to win. We need to adapt and play smart when necessary if we want to win against top teams in finals etc

Yeah I think Barnes will come good and Livromento is a great signing. Tonali is the one who could go either way at this point, hopfully bounces back after his band and takes to the league.

Tbf as far as judging it for this season we cant really call it a successful transfer window. The club can't be blamed for this though.

Are they though? I love Eddie Howe, hope he stays for many years. I watch every pre match press conference, every interview. Proud as fuck he's our manager. I don't think we approached the final 20 minutes of the Milan game correctly. Doesn't mean I have negative feelings towards him or want him replaced. You could idolise Shearer and say he had a bad game couldn't you? Or does that mean you really want him sold at the next opportunity.

Get where you're coming from but was bit naive on our part and wasn't the right approach given the context. Milan needed to score more than we did at that point, yet we were playing like we were losing and needed an equaliser. We could have won if we'd had a bit more nouse.
