Dan Ashworth (no longer working for Manchester United)

I think he'll stay, reflects quite badly on anyone in that position if they leave so early in a project. Almost makes his position pointless. -

Him and Barnes being out so long is a massive negative -
All stocked up on toilet roll cheers though

I do trust Eddie think he's absolutely brilliant. Doesn't mean I have to blindly agree with every single decision. I don't believe Ritchie should be getting any minute's for us.
-
That's a bit of a myth mind, we lost away by 1 goal to Man City then had a bad day away at Brighton. After that we drew away to Milan, Thrashed Sheffield United and drew away to west ham. By then we're way into October with injuries etc.
-
But we already had Livromento at left back? He just had to come on a bit further up. No way he's worse defensively than Matt Ritchie who can't run?
-
Guess we'll see where Eddie goes with this then, reason we've looked poor away from home recently for me is injuries have left us unable to play our game. We didn't struggle last season without a DM?

The Europeometerâ„¢ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Conference League (at least)

Also we've stills hardly seen our best 11 together this season. Got to hope we get that opportunity soon. -
Aye I'd agree with this if we were asking him to start games etc but we literally needed him to come on for less than a half of football instead of Matt Ritchie. Still think it was a bit bizzare.

I think we're gonna gonna win well today. -
I think that's complete nonsense tbh, a more attacking minded central midfielder who could pick a forward pass and chip in with a few goals would be a lot more beneficial to our side.
-
Think we need the opposite tbh need a creative midfielder.
-
Title contenders my arse.
-
We're better than these when everyone's fit and not banned for having a punt.

This if fit and able. -
In his current state in recent weeks he's been a liability, he's in a bad run of form isn't really hard to understand. He'll bounce back I'm sure.
-
He's been a liability lately yes its a fair thing to say.
-
He's been a liability over the last 4 games, brilliant for the vast majority of his time here.
-
Hysterical vitriol? What you expect people to say when someone's dropped a completely unnecessary and ridiculous clanger to knock us out of a cup and a chance at ending our 55 year trophy drought in the 93rd minute ? Obviously people are gonna be pissed off at the time. Vast majority of comments in this thread have been positive saying they love Trippier and back him to come back stronger, give him a break and help him with any issues etc. Footballs are passionate game which makes it what it is, people are too sensitive to slight criticism.
-
Bit of a daft take, you can't have defenders or goalkeepers dropping clangers on the regular. It's one of those issues that might not seem fair but it's just kind of tough as that's the way it is.

Wilson to bag a brace minimum, you're good. -
Didn't realise he was still on our books tbh
-
I honestly think he's still working miracles given the amount of injuries we've had he still has is us competing and on our day I think we can beat anyone. Obviously disappointed with going out of the cup and Europe but I just see that as a joint disappointed with Eddie and the team like we're in this together.
