Iraola will be off too. Spurs should be after him, but wouldn’t be shocked to see Real Madrid make a play if Alonso / Klopp are not viable for them.
-
That would strike me as a RB signing who can fill in elsewhere.
-
Nah, draw would’ve been not good. Villa defeat means we can draw an away game and they’re out of it because of our GD (if we win home games). Them drawing, meant if we drew an away game it wouldn’t have made any difference.

Diasi epitomises why people need to calm down on Villa business model. Shite at Chelsea, then loaned for a fair whack and still shite.

There’s Doku
-
Doku such a weird player. Never seen someone so regularly beat the full back they’re up against, but create nothing from it. If he picked out someone 50% of the time he’d be the best winger in world
-
Wouldn’t mind O’Rilley as a CM signing that can also cover LB.

Each time I see a side rock up and have this much fun at Man City, I get annoyed at our showing
-
Villa been very positive with the forward passes. Bypassing the slow press.
-
City look done already and out of ideas. Villa play it smartly, they’ll be giving chances on counter.
-
Crappy Man City defending again.
-
Thank fuck Martinez is shit.
-
Bailey will be next Villa player sold to fund next spending spree I bet. Saudis to come in and give them £50m+ again.
-
That Man City team looks shit. Putting money on Villa
-
Cunha is the definition of many more players like him if you trust your scouts and coaching staff. If we want another Brazilian who will likely in next 12 months be the in name (I.e. starting to play for Brazil) than Muniz as the 2nd striker would be that.

Man City win tonight is very much needed. We win our home games, it’s then huge pressure on Villa needing to be faultless against Bournemouth away, Spurs home and Man Utd away. Whilst they’re all off form for different reasons, they’re games that can still be tough. Then Chelsea have Forest away final game (with Man Utd and Liverpool at home) where again they have to be faultless to over take us.

Don’t think it would change result, but it certainly does change the mood post game and on training ground having him there. He’s the leader. Requires likes of Trips / Burn / Bruno G etc all stepping up as a leadership group to carry out what Howe has been doing to date. Tindall will be able to do so much but that leadership aspect he won’t have.
-
I mean it would be Cunha lot to force the Man Utd hand. Wasn’t keen on him anyway for many reasons. Delap is the guy I’d want and would hate to see him go to Man Utd.

This will be like a typical end of season game. We start hard and fast, go one up in first half, I’d expect it to be job done by HT. We start a bit off it, fans become a bit restless and we could shoot ourselves in foot. Howe being back there in changing room to keep players minds on the job will be a needed boost after Villa game.

We win home games we get top 5. I just can’t see Chelsea and Villa (this is dependent on City beating Villa) getting more points than us over those games if we get 9 from them. Basically means Villa / Chelsea have to win every game which they’ve not shown this season being capable of.

Vicario Sack Ange you useless cunts.
-
Vicario so laughably bad. Lettuce wrists.
-
Forest so annoying, as they're not a great team for the position they're in. Just get the goals at right time and dog it out.

Sign 3 top players (GK/CB/RW), potentially lose a good player (say Joelinton to Saudi for £50m) on top of aggresively selling the fringe players (Targett/Longstaff) and that used to sign 4 younger/on the cusp players (CMx2, ST, RB). Where after a few months, squad could look on paper very strong if those players perform. Think in a position of strength (cup win, UCL) we HAVE to be ruthless with the squad. There's so many we should move on if there's deals to be had and fresh players brought in, with likes of Burn, Bruno, Tonali, Isak, Gordon etc. all being the leaders. Like I love Schar, but if there's a deal for £8m+ on table and he's going to be back up CB next season, they're the sales we have to make.
