These Man Utd wins are potentially taking top 5 away from us. Can’t see us getting ahead of top 6 playing catch up with our away games to come Just got to try and get 7th, which we should have no excuses not achieving consider where spurs are.

Think though, how he plays works really well with England. He keeps possession well, makes the right passes and has the pace beyond Kane. Like a few players, surround them with better players, they play better themselves. It’s a finite amount of players who will play exceptional and stand out regardless.

Get the impression from that he’s been told work with what you got, you had £200m+ in summer.

With Joelinton done again, he has to play for next several games. Don’t think he’s amazing, but he’s a good player we can get use out of before he breaks.

Flawless. Such a majestic player and showed it again. Great crosses (no-one on end), lovely dribbles, great passing. He can do it all and will only get better in general play as he matures over next 18 months on the pitch. Him and Hall are the future direction of this team, and that’s technical build up, not fast and hard.

Been the same in every league game, then UCL he was proper on it. Considering he pushed to move for UCL, and his fitness may not be fully 100% there, he could well be saving himself more for UCL with an eye on World Cup play offs in March to come.

Think what would help him is some new faces in the coaching set up next season. You can be a great coach, but sometimes you are that close to the action, you can’t see what needs changing because previous ways worked so well. Some fresh voices and direction could get him thinking differently, and he can lead the new way. Been the same core set up since day one.

Same issues. Really want him to be the guy for next season, but he’s got to start showing something different with the side to give us something excited moving forward. It’s proper heads in sand if people can’t see this going all stale with the current approach.

Similar to Elanga, we’ll get use from a squad player but I don’t see it in him. He’s not someone who can lead the line for a side that wants to push top 8. Wilson / Almiron / Longstaff gone. Wissa / Elanga / Ramsey in, who are all better, but that’s because they’re replacing the end of those players, not their peaks. So much for the lifting of the bar in a minuscule way.

When we can’t play to his strengths when starting, having you hope spent a few training sessions on shape / play for that game, we sure as hell won’t play well with him coming off the bench when things are disjointed.

He’s good at getting opposition booked, but still not seeing what he’s supposed to offer us. Had Mings standing up and didn’t take him on. Crossing is better, but it’s clutching at stuff. He is really average and nothing won’t change that. We will get our squad use out of him over next 5 seasons, but it’s as a back up winger. We have to sign someone in summer who’s technical but that would mean now moving Murphy on to facilitate it

Just online stuff. I’m guilty of it, negative blob of words in the heat of a poor display. Unless we’re winning, it’s hardly going to be all praise when Tonali is busy trying to rugby tackle the opposition instead of winning the ball.

Find it hard to buy into we don’t have the squad, when Ramsey not started last few games and is on bench as Trippier plays for 3rd time. Likewise we have two wingers (albeit Osula / Elanga), and it’s same two in Barnes / Gordon starting. It’s hard to fully tell if squad isn’t good enough if it’s not rotated. Different game coming off bench when chasing a game, then starting one when it’s fresh. Squad not being good enough in general quality is a different question, to not having the squad to playing multiple competitions.

That’s a home game without a win, which means away games against the top sides now have to be won if we want to get to 60 points and hopes of Europe.

Had hoped we could start to string something together, but this is final straw. There is nothing in this season for us, can say we’re close to Europe / in cups, but that won’t be the case end of February. We’re poor with the ball and don’t look like a well coached side. If we can exert our physical presence, it’s great. Soon as it’s a technical game that requires probing and patience, we have little idea mixed in with the wrong players. Don’t know where we go in the summer, because current direction is 100% not it.
