Then do ex Man City youth. It’s laughable how much is spent on just two sides, because they have people upstairs who come from those two sides

He is, but he’s levels this season as it’s gone on compared to last is night and day and it’s not changing. Chelsea got over the line for UCL with that win end of season, but they were on a slide. Like playing Liverpool on the beach and Man Utd paper over how abject they were 2nd half of season. Nothing to fear about them at all IMO.

He’s scored like one open play goal in like 25 games I think? Chelsea are not in a great spot IMO, and that will show as the proper games start off next season.

More he’ll be delighted as Chelsea will comfortably pay £60m+, which we were clearly reluctant to do (and rightly so). Jokes that for both of the striker options, Chelsea have signed them Not sure who we turn too now, as Delap and Pedro are so different it shows it’s an evolving landscape of who we are targeting. Like do we now go for a lower price ST and big on CM? As Pedro I could’ve seen being more towards CM whilst ticking striker box, whilst Delap was an opportunistic low cost ST and maybe then getting a low cost CM for £25m (a la Ramsey).
  5. Yep, but does feel that this season gone it was a case of drain out all the last of we could from this squad. Needs some serious fresh faces, talking 4/5 strong faces to give us a kick because some will be drained.
  6. Done it now with near two different teams. Think Creswell only one that’s part of both.
  7. Should be. Probably takes £40m to prize him this summer and I don’t think a club can justify that as he’s still on development. He should also stay, 3rd full season of his career, playing for one that will do more attack than defending, which if he left would likely lead to a side which he’s doing donkey legs.
  8. He’ll be ahead of Wharton for England now too under Tuchel.
  9. Anderson is going to get a big bid for him later in July. Proper stuck his flag in the ground this tournament.
  10. Plays across the whole of the front.
  11. Wanted him last summer as the low costs RW that could develop over time. Shows there's value out there.
  12. We're smashing them on counter.
  13. Elliot is SO composed in the box. Always picks out the corner.

Same way as it did under Potter. Too many egos who will kick off, because there'll be even less minutes to appease players.

How many of them are starting first Prem game of 25/26 season? Probably 0. Neto at a push, but Chelsea will be signing a winger so who knows.

We missed out on him once, so missing out again is just a shrug of the shoulders.
  17. What European team is spending £70m on him? Only Fenerbache want him this summer
  18. All just finger in the sky stuff, but I reckon Elanga team have said he’s keen to join and we’re keen to have him, and we’ve backed that by making a bid and leaking it. Like if Forest don’t want to sell, it’s not our problem. That’s between Elanga and Forest, and should it change quickly we’ll be back, or we move on to the one of the many other targets we’ve been speaking too.

Nah. That sort of approach eventually fucks you. Our approach has worked from day one, and if we have to go elsewhere then so be it. Hasn’t stopped us moving forward in the past (Pedro is a prime example from last time), won’t stop us going forward.
  20. Guehi? Think Pedro will get done as Brighton want gone, and Trafford will too as there would be some agreement last season he can go this summer. Elanga feels way apart and a bid and walk away job.
  21. That transfer should be looked into. Was silly money yet premier league clubs didn’t bat an eye lid.
  22. Does their scouting network go beyond France? Isidor is bigged up, but outside him so many of their signings last season was proper shit. It was the existing players and youth that done the job for them. No guarantee that spending bigger sums on players from same pool will change that.
  23. He scored against England, so is immediately a top 6 player who they could sell for £60m+ next summer. Stinks of Seri to me.
