  1. Really hope Bournemouth get Europe this season. They’ve been so good under Iraola, and they deserve something to show for it.
  2. Leeds showing that loading up on physical monsters is what you need for the Prem survival.
  3. If this stays the same, he HAS to be sacked. Can’t keep a manager with a win % that’s like Steve Bruce level.
  4. Because construction costs are more expensive then even just 3 years ago. The stadium may include more surrounding infrasructure building / more premium quality etc.
  5. He still looks like his legs and brain are not connected. Was an attack in 2nd half yesterday where he got played through in the box and how quick his legs were moving, he almost stumbled over the ball and meant when he shot his body was like ahead of the ball Just needs to calm down a tad as he has the pace / physicallity to beat defenders.
  6. Shows how redundant Willock is right now in that case. As Ramsey is the Joelinton stand in (or vice versa as season goes on), and Willock? Well he's not Bruno or Tonali, and then has Ramsey ahead of him. Just a spare part that needs moving on soon for a midfielder that can provide something different for our collection.
  7. As much as this is the team I want, think the 5 at the back people will once again be proven correct and we'll see this side... Trippier - Thaiw - Botman - Burn - Tino Bruno G - Tonali Murphy - Woltemade - Gordon Not a fan as we've been blunt going forward every time we've tried it this season.
  8. Really would like Elanga to start this for the direct pace behind Arsenal, and to finally see him play with Woltemade from the start. Tino - Botman - Burn - Hall Tonali - Bruno - Joe Elanga - Woltemade - Gordon Get our strongest left side going again and for first time what should be our strongest right side. Effectively our strongest XI on paper based on historic form / new signings.
  9. Gordon is never going to be a finisher and it annoys me. As that’s the part he has to improve to go to next level, and if he doesn’t do that he will hold us back.
  10. Give him benefit of doubt as he was shoulder barged and done well to remain balance whilst running at full pelt.
  11. Murphy for Hall Willock for Bruno Barnes for Joelinton 4-2-3-1 Then Woltmade for Gordon Lascelles for Botman That’s my preference this 2nd half. Would like to see Woltmade on pitch with Osula to see how it would work with Wissa.
  12. What we been like as just tuned in? Surprised Bruno is starting, hopefully him and Joe come off at HT.
  13. They’ve won 5 out 5, but their games are giving me Man City vibes from last season where they started well on paper but performances not convincing. Then it all came crashing down quick. Their attack can be good, but they have minimal CBs.
  14. Monchi Christ. Rather have @Alan Pardew We should just go for Dougie Freedman. Feels a no brainer.

    Yoane Wissa

Really hope this isn't Botman 2.0. Where he's back, but after a short period he's in discomfort and surgery is needed. Bit twitchy that we only have him back for a short period and he's off to ACON where the knee could explode.
  16. Didn't realise the chat was in this thread. Aston Villa approach has been poor for PSR. Said it January, it's not good for PSR if every summer you signing a player for £35m, then selling them for £35m next summer when it doens't work to enable more signings, as with all the signing on fees etc. it's net equal at best. Monchi is also a known wheeler dealer, that leaves squads in poor bloated states once he goes. Just look at the business in summer 2024, so much nothingness. Onana only one that's played reguarly and he's been hit and miss with injuries. They have got some stars in their XI, but when Emery goes it could look even worse as they well need to sell Rogers to enable a squad revamp.
  17. That's why the make more noise about the exclusive access to merch, competitions etc. rather than the actual match day tickets.
  18. It’s a cup, so will want to win it. But home to a L1 side, regardless if they’re doing well, doesn’t warrant a semi strong side this early on in the round. You take it seriously with the XI when it’s the last 16, that’s when you start to think “final is within reach if we win today”.
  19. Premier League is also the ESL. That’s where the money is as shown across Europe by deals going down for their domestic leagues. With UCL on top, they now have no need to press for a super league. If anything, they will just press UEFA with the others to close off that competition further / increase the size so more can enter and have the premier league reduced down or weekend slots swapped with a couple of European midweeks. Super League won’t ever happen again IMO for English sides. European sides may want one, but they know it won’t have the traction without the English sides. The premier league being distorted to suit the cartel 6 is the real concern over next 5 years as nothing is off the table.
