Not sure what the criteria is as to why teams from continent X get more than teams from continent Y, but if teams are going to turn up and get walloped at least they're getting a tidy sum for it. Will admit having read a few of the articles on The Athletic about this tournament, that I have been semi looking forward to it even though I know it's a vanity project for Infantino and it's a tournament that is most definitely not needed. A chance to see teams like Boca Juniors and all that. Games like this makes a complete mockery of it though.
