Sick to the back teeth of seeing the teams around us and above us having keepers pinging 50 yard passes into the strikers feet or being able to pass between the lines while we cannot. They're about to have their best season for 8 years, which would be our worst season in 33 years. We're on track for our best season in 22 years, which would be their best season for 75 years. Levels.

Keepers get free-kicks for the smallest thing yet can come tearing our jumping with their knees at chest height for a cross for "protection" and it's deemed to be fine. Obviously there has to be a balance but I definitely thought it was a pen yesterday.

I'd be far more worried about our recruitment policy if we didn't go for him this summer. If we were prepared to spend £55-60m, you'd surely go for the same player at £35-40m. Also with the added bonus now that if he doesn't turn out to be the player the club believed, you'd get most of your money back at least if we sold.

I think I'd honestly prefer Arsenal over Barcelona and that would be a sod to experience. Cannot stand the entity Barcelona have become.

If Howe still wants him, we should go for him like. There might be a higher level of CB that pops up this summer in the £50-60m bracket that becomes available but if he's going for £30-40m I think it'd seem a bit daft not going for him when we spent so long trying to sign him originally.
