Ekitike was happy to come here. He was just happier when Liverpool bid.
-
Anything that stops the non Sky 6 clubs being able to give them the same wages is a PSR sale.
-
Think they'll sign some players like Solly March, PL players who would maybe drop a division for a year and be a good squad player when they return.
-
They'll Rafa it back up.
-
The last line on his Hearts statement is such a throwaway comment man. "I wish Hearts all the success in the future", when he'll be hoping for the exact opposite as a Rangers player.
-
Rashford has just scored 14 with 10 assists for Barcelona across all comps. Could easily see Gordon beating that without much effort.
-
He'll look one of the best players in Europe playing for the best team in Germany or Spain. His Champions League performances will likely be the norm as he's against worse opposition every week.
-
Looks like Rob Elliot leaving Gateshead.

Doesn't work, because the prize is called Nobel.
-
Howe would fucking love that second goal.
-
If Gordon was staying, I could definitely see it. Make a bit of profit or get money back on someone with maybe only 2-3 years left at the top level. Really don't fancy us spending a summer trying to buy two LWs though.
-
Can't be arsed checking but his 16 goals in all competitions from open play must be a club record for a winger at our club?
-
Not for me, but don't mind the odd zany design now and again.
-
I know they're trying to take the piss, but I remember their, "for Premier League football come to Sunderland" one when we got relegated. That was the last time we saw them for 8 years.
-
He's had consistent numbers for 6-7 years? If Gordon was staying then I'd take it possibly. Otherwise, there's a fair chance we're needing two GKs, two RBs, two LWs before we even start.
-
A difference between him and say, Murphy, is that he doesn't seem to rely on how the team is playing to get the best out of him. Isak leaving made Murphy stand out like a sore thumb this season. Barnes has played in a top 6 Leicester team, a relegated Leicester team, a top 5 NUFC team and a bottom-half NUFC team and his numbers have remained pretty much constant. His output has been decent when he starts and when we've needed something from him off the bench. That's a huge quality to lose.
-
I just can't see us wanting to sell Barnes too in that case. Two unproven Premier League LWs is a gamble. A Premier League proven one that'd get their numbers would cost a fortune. Think we'd need to keep him for another year.
-
Unless Gordon is somehow staying.
-
True, but we're going to then need two LWs. There's a lot of goals/assists two players probably not as good as Barnes & Gordon at this stage will be needed to replicate.

That'd be a tough one to take. Ideally we keep him as if we're looking overseas for a cheaper Gordon replacement, we're likely going to need him to start a fair few games while he settles.
-
I think we'd have stayed up, not as emphatically as we did under Howe though.

This is what they want, like. Might as well just cut to the chase, let Man Utd, Arsenal & Liverpool keep the title between them and the rest of us will feed on their scraps. -
Don't see an issue here? If he just stands and does nothing noone says a thing as the ball's nowhere near him, but because he raises a leg, it's lazy? Jesus fucking Christ man, I know he's been crap but people love to pick.
