He can easily scale up what he's doing at Gateshead over there. Crawley was a big jump at the time going to a team always likely to go down from League 1.
-
Carlisle probably going in my league winners bet before the season starts then.
-
What's Abde like as a player? Get me excited please as his stats before last season don't look up to much?
-
Give him a year or two extension with an option of a third or something so he holds his value a bit longer. He's the sort of player a bottom half team would pay £25m for even at 30 as he'd still be good for double-figures. Could easily see someone like West Ham or Wolves fancying him for £28-30m next summer if they came back up, by which point the first new LW would be settled and you could then go for another one to compete.

We needed some experience. Coloccini was pretty much finished by this stage, Taylor & Williamson shite, Cisse finished, Colback & Anita some of the other senior players were shite. The money we spent on Shelvey in January we should have moved heaven and earth to bring Cabaye back who had a great few years at Palace. He'd have probably come too. Him added to that lot and we'd have been nowhere near relegation.

Mark Hughes has left Carlisle. Can definitely see Elliot going there.
-
Could easily see him at Spurs or Chelsea for around £60m in 2 years time.
-
Fair do. Not sure how I'd feel about two relatively unproven players replacing Gordon & Barnes at once. Has shades of the Wijnaldum/Mitrovic/Mbemba/Thauvin window. Would keep Barnes and sign one of those two's profile to compete with him.

A decade after hoying a poster up at the Airport saying go to Sunderland for top flight football. They've played top flight football two years since then.
-
Think he's along the same profile as Solly March in that I reckon he'd be the perfect signing for West Ham to help get promoted and then keep around the squad in the Premier League for a season.
-
Can definitely see Le Bris being a victim of his own success next season if they do struggle to manage 4 competitions.
-
Le Bris and the recruitment team were getting a lot of stick on RTG pretty much up to Ballard's winner v Coventry.
-
Who's Niang? Only results I get are a 31 year old in Turkey.
-
Say an average of £25 a ticket. There's an extra £1m even if we just sell 40k tickets.
-
Aye. Having to pay the going rate for a player in this day and age. God forbid them.
-
Which is still only 7th/8th largest?
-
Net spend down to around €390m under PIF after the Gordon sale? Under £80m a year. It really doesn't seem excessive given the squad we had inherited, yet we still seem so hamstrung.
-
They're 100% going to unsettle Woltemade to the point they get him on loan or something shit this summer.
-
Isak passing and movement for that, man. I really hope last year wasn't our golden year and that's our peak.
-
That's where PSR has the non-elite over a barrel. Unsettle a player, low-ball early on. You can accept it and get on with your business (which is what they want). Or do what we did last summer, try to get as much money as possible but it fucks you over. Football is fucking shit.

What are the odds we offer €30m to Man U for Rashford now.
-
Think this definitely has Milner vibes in that we think it's a good few for how he is at this stage, but his career is about to take off.
-
Ekitike was happy to come here. He was just happier when Liverpool bid.
-
Anything that stops the non Sky 6 clubs being able to give them the same wages is a PSR sale.
