No more excuses. That game was poor as it comes. I honestly can’t see how Howe can improve things unless there’s a massive clear out. Everyone besides Thiaw and Tonali were utter crap. Palace were there for the taking.

For the first time ever I’m thinking Howe should go. Was at the game, sat with Palace fans 😭 which made it worse. But we were toothless as heck. Murphy was having a shocker all game and he only brings Elanga on when we’re down. All the players looked lethargic yet it was Palace that had a European game. Can’t see how this group can improve. We need a fresh environment, there’s seriously no more hunger.

The most concerning thing is how predictable it all is. We just don’t play in a style/ have the playmakers to penetrate low possession teams. This is where I feel Eddie has hit a ceiling. Wolte would be perfect for this, but not sure Eddie knows how to use him effectively.

I love Howe, but in crunch games he keeps getting outcoached. The only games I’ve seen him on point strategically this season are the PSG away game and Barca (home and 1st half away). He seriously needs to be more adaptable during games. And also, we’ve become sooo predictable. It took Barca 1.5 games to figure us out, and look what happened.

I think the majority of our players will stick around even if we miss out on Europe. Most likely to leave will be Tonali (we probably haven’t gotten the best out of him consistently so wouldn’t mind so long we make a decent profit), Tino (again, wouldn’t mind only if we get a good replacement who can play off both feet) and Gordon (biggest loss of all; his speed and versatility are immense for how we play).

I think these days the 4th official or VAR tell the ref how much more time to add on after the allotted time is over. So nothing suspicious about it. I saw him as well. It looked like he was about to blow then he got a message. Also happens in the prem so that teams don’t get away with wasting time.

If Osula adds a touch of refinement to his game, the lad will be quality. He’s fast, works hard and has a powerful shot.

We’re missing Tino biiiig time. Have always said that when he or Hall are missing we just have nothing out wide. Tonali may as well go to Arsenal based off this crap. He’s got effort but his quality has dipped so much this season

I love Tripps and all he’s done for us but blimey he’s done. That first goal, he pretty much falls by himself and the ball rolls into the space he’s meant to cover

You folks criticising him are being damn harsh. He’s been holding the ball and controlling it like this all season. His passing is a bit inconsistent but imo if he nails that he’s got a high ceiling. Just need our strikers to start making decent runs for him to pass into!
