Been watching Venezuela/Bolivia on SS1, Venezuela have just made it 5-3 with a few minutes left. Bolivian keeper was injured at 3-3 but there was no subs left, injury played a part in making it 4-3, eventually an outfield player went in goal, then got beaten from 35 yeards.

Mental stuff

Hereford are 2nd in League 2, not that much of an upset tbh.

Leeds United.

Hereford United.

Hereford beating Leeds at home.

It's a pretty big upset, mate.

Maybe 5 years ago. It's the equivalent of someone like Wolves winning away at an under strength Everton, Newcastle, West Ham etc...

It was a pretty strong team Leeds put out.  Bates made a point of saying beforehand that progression in the FA Cup was a means of generating income to buy Elland Road back.  Don't think Bates would have been shrugging his shoulders and saying 'Oh well, never mind chaps'.

UPDATE: James Troisi plays full match for Australia u/23's against North Korea, Australia qualifying through to the olympics with a 1-1 draw. Troisi looks a real prospect and is highly regarded in Australia. Some labelling him the next "Harry Kewell". He has been playing some excellent football, looks very comfortable on the ball.

It's Leeds and Hereford ffs. Regardless of where they are in their respective leagues, it's a massive upset imo.

Buy Elland Road back? Surely they should be generating the fund to get into the Prem and stay there for a few years before thinking of putting so much in a stadium

I think it was said that there is an option for the stadium to be sold back at a specified figure within a specified time.  If that period lapsed, any purchase price would probably be significantly higher than the one currently available.
