i absolutely love what Keegan did for us, was all great times along with the timing, best ride newcastle ever had on the crest of that wave, Football was changing, the Champions league was developing and the premier leaugue money was just starting to become something big. hell, even blackburn won the leaugue. however some of the levels of love keegan gets on here at times is OTT imo. SBR gave us more direction and stability. some folk on here have even said Keegan was the best man ever to be associated with us and sould have a stand/statue, what about Joe Harvey?

I grew up with KK, from player to manager and as much as i loved him, both times, he wasn't the best manager ever, nor was he completely blameless. some of the commwnts i've read on here, well no wonder we get some of the stick from other fans

Tbf, that just reads like you simply don't know about the things that he did for the club when he came back as manager. I loved SBR and there's no real need for the comparison, but saying that SBR gave us more direction and stability is frankly wrong. You're talking about a man that took us from within a whisker of the third tier, to within a whisker of the Premier League title within 4 years. Keegan is the reason that we're an established Premier League club and the reason why we were big enough to call upon SBR in the first place.

'It's my opinion' is always the mark of a dullard, like. You hear it and read it all the time on things like The Wright Stuff, Questiontime, Daily Mail comments, Jeremy Kyle.

Basically it's the way that idiots justify themselves. It's often a thing that racists say, for example.

It's a shame that you didn't lose to Germany...in either of the World Wars.

It's amazing how pointing out some facts can make people say the stupidest things. If anyone thinks keegan was better than sbr they need to get real. Messiah ffs.

Facts? I thought it was your opinion? [emoji38]

Are you this bored like? We're all just laughing at you.

For the avoidance of doubt, the facts are that he quit newcastle (twice). Quit fulham for england. Quit England after losing to germany - world cup qualifying ruined.

Iirc he played Southgate in midfield which was a bit silly and threw his teddies out of the pram when it didn't work then quit. A pattern of quitting can be observed although of course that is merely opinion.

Aye and people quit smoking, you say it like quitting can only be a bad thing.

It's canny sad how desperate you seem to want to show how little you think of him that you're willing to go so beyond the pale of rational thought that you'd bring Alan Curbishley into it.

As others have said, you've made your point, no need to keep repeating it when every single person on here finds your opinion risible and isn't particularly interested in discussing it beyond pointing at you and laughing.

Just getting my point across.
