Heron
Anything actaully happening tommorrow then ? Today even The Police advised the Toon Ultras not to go ahead with this as they do not have the 'man power' to be able to cover such a 'march' tomorrow. Therefore it is 'officially' off. However, there appears to be a number of lads off both Newcastle and Manchester United forums who WILL be 'marching' including myself. A 22foot x 3.5foot banner saying UNITED WE STAND has also been painted, and the Stretford End Lot have also had theirs made.

pedro111
how would u feel if we're a kid and couldn't see the match cos ppl we're standing when they shudn't Howay man read the whole thread, they are campaining in the hope that 'safe standing areas' will be introduced giving fans the OPTION whether to stand or sit. Heron
Unofficially alot of people are still doing it. But it is nithing to do with the Toon Ultras as a group. Also, kids have managed for decades to stand up and see the game, I'm sure they could manage even better in a safe standing section.

Happy Face
I was impressed by the stewarding today. They just left us to stand. Of course, by the second half we were slumped miserably in our chairs. Maybe the players were told to play shite in the interests of crowd safety. abcdefg
I saw, well heard first, was going in the opposite direction. Could be wrong, but I didn't see any red shirts involved.
NufcSteven90
I saw, well heard first, was going in the opposite direction. Could be wrong, but I didn't see any red shirts involved. Thought the majority of Man Utd fans dressed casual anyway, looked like that in the away end anyway.

Heron
it's only f****** kids there It wasn't at the time though. I would consider 'kids' to be like 15 and younger, most of the lads there were 16-23.
