Dokko
Newcastle v Fenerbahce - defeat Middlesbrough v Newcastle - defeat Newcastle v Portsmouth - defeat Newcastle v Charlton - win Palermo v Newcastle - defeat Newcastle v Sheff Utd - win Man City v Newcastle - defeat I think we'll draw with Pompy, but agreed with the rest. How can you draw in the Carling Cup? I thought it was a league game
Geordie Boot Boy
Newcastle v Fenerbache - win Boro v Newcastle - draw Newcastle v Pompey - win Newcastle v Charlton - win Palermo v Newcastle - loss Newcastle v Sheff. Utd - win Man City v Newcastle - draw Now THAT'S optimistic, but I can honestly see it happening. It only takes one good performance to get confidence back. I'd actually switch the Boro result with the Pompey result and agree with your predictions.

Guest Moe-Ali
I'm still too depressed from yesterday to drum up any optimism but I'm starting to fear the worst.
Guest The Fox
Dont think they travel that well. Would not surprise me if we had one or two good performances in Europe and/or the League but it wont last it will be the usual ups and downs and in the end we will not win anything, as I said pre season. It may well be at best the Intertoto again next season.

iklgizmo
reading roeders comments about all of fixtures coming up i can see us putting a weakened team out against pompy. League cup is always our last priority. At least if he puts some young ones in it wont look as bad when we get pissed on
Guest geordie01
bit off topic but dont want to start a new thread. what would everyone's feelings be on: ALAN CURBISHLY AND ALAN SHEARER. surely better than what we have now and i cant see us ever attracting the type of world class manager fat fred likes to talk about after this season. Elliottman
I'm still too depressed from yesterday to drum up any optimism but I'm starting to fear the worst. I was fearing the worst when Glenn was IDIOTICALLY given the job. Check back - I said it then, and had to battle against many who now are saying the same. I'd give the job to Gerard Houllier. i had a fiver on him at 30-1! Stupis Shepherd Face!

Crumpy Gunt
Doom monger. What makes you think that? Facts are we could easily have a similar run of games this coming season. We've a very decent first team but a small squad depth. Something will have to give. Personally I'd rather see us command a decent league position - 6th/7th/ and not lower than 8th... My personal view is with runs of games like above we'll do well to finish 10th or above.
Yorkie
Defense: Coloccini, Santon, Simpson, Williamson, Perch, Raylor, Saylor, Ferguson, Tavernier. Midfield: Cabaye, Abeid, Gosling, Gutierrez, Marveaux, Tiote, Obertan, Vuckic, Amalfitano, Sameobi. Attack: Cisse, Ben Arfa, Ba, Best, Shola. Definitely thin on the ground, like. Don't doubt the youngsters will get game time in the Waffa, but i really want us to have a go in that and i'm sure Pardew's not got us there simply to make up the numbers. You can tell he respects the cups. Really hope we pad the squad out this summer and don't lost anyone else. Next season could be great; i would be more than happy with a top-eight finish if it meant some class runs in the cup(s).
Peder75
Thu. 2 19:45 UK Palermo v Newcastle Renzo Barbera UEFA Cup Sorry that I continue to bump this thread but Krul against Palermo.
