Gash
Nicked that for twitter I'd be gutted if you got Ireland
Besty
Man United now have Bebe, Mame and Nani. The signing of Dade to complete the family should be imminent.
Cajun
Huddleston or palacious? I thought Wilson would be nailed on. How has Bassong performed?
TaylorJ_01
Palacios is very one dimensional but great at that one dimension. Take him past the half way line and the pitch will cave in.
Cajun
The spelling of those names look soo wrong but I can't be arsed to remember what they should be!
Ameritoon
For Tottenham's sake they can only hope Palacios isn't nailed on.
TaylorJ_01
Actually, now I think of it, Alex Ferguson is playing this transfer window like I would on FM. Picking up random youngsters n all that.
The Prophet
Also hasn't Modric pretty much tried and failed as a holding player?
TaylorJ_01
The spelling of those names look soo wrong but I can't be arsed to remember what they should be! I dunno man, I quite like the look of 'Palacious'. Like 'spacious'
Guest kingdawson
Huddleston or palacious? I thought Wilson would be nailed on. How has Bassong performed? Bassong's been very good. He's done a better job then most spurs fans ever expected/hoped (including me). Palacios didn't have a very good season last year and our best performances and results came when Luka and Huddlestone played cm and Bale was on the wing. Still rate him very highly but he's certainly not a guaranteed starter anymore.

Guest Stephen927
Also hasn't Modric pretty much tried and failed as a holding player? Ramos played him there cos he's a fool.
Segun Oluwaniyi
Also hasn't Modric pretty much tried and failed as a holding player? Holding player? That's not his role at all unless he has a natural defensive player in 4-2-3-1 next to him. He has no defensive qualities. If these rumours of Onuoha going to Sunderland are true, then I am quite incensed. If it really is a loan, we should have been grovelling at Man City's feet to complete the deal. Guest kingdawson
Gomes Corluka-Dawson-King-Bale Huddlestone-Palacios Lennon-Ireland-Modric Remy No. Bellamy is pure class and would allow us to be more direct. We'd counter attack teams to death with him and Lennon on the wings and Ireland central, besides Luka can play the cm role very effectively (him and Ireland can easily swap positions to confuse opposition with my proposed line up). It's either Hudds or Palacios imo.
ponsaelius
You've got Sandro aswell.

Aye Ramos used to play him there on his own. He might be better with a defensive player next to him but to get the best out of him surely he needs to be somewhere in that attacking three? Agreed, but Hughton was never going to be look for a righ back after we brought Perch in.
Gash
That's based on not hearing much about Bellamy joining you, is it looking certain? If so he needs to be in there probably drop Lennon and play Ireland on the right.
Guest kingdawson
Also hasn't Modric pretty much tried and failed as a holding player? He wouldn't be holding. Either Huddlestone or Palacios would be the one sitting.
ponsaelius
Honestly can't see City selling Bellamy to Spurs. I reckon they'd rather bung him in the 'Elite Squad' than give him to a direct rival.

Village Idiot
Still, when I saw Modric playing deep under Ramos he really struggled to leave his mark in the game. But the whole side was pretty awful and he'd just arrived.
TaylorJ_01
Dunno like, two non-natural wingers playing as wingers would make my eyes bleed a bit. I rate Lennon anyway. You have a bloody good squad KD, lucky bastard!
Gash
I just don't think Modric should play deep. There's nothing wrong with playing 2 'non-natural' wingers we do it and it's fine!
Village Idiot
I think it works on the left given how good is Bale coming from deep and giving them width. Corluka I don't rate that much and it would be a crime to drop Lennon, up until his injury last season he was Spurs' best player.
