Taylor Targets Top Six

I don't see much evidence of that to be honest. I know I'd rather have a few years of solid rebuilding (if that's what we get) along the lines of Everton than a continued maniac rollercoaster of boom and bust.

That way we might have a chance of building something sustainable that won't collapse at the slightest misfortune.

EVERTON?

no thanks

Can you imagine the head lines "Beers don't work" - Mr Ashley resorts to handing our "the brown" whilst socialising with fans in the gutter in hope of drawing more fans the not so goodison park.

I accept the slight hyperbole on my part manorpark, but what actually is there to aim beyond the top six? There's only Champions League qualification and winning the league itself. Do you honestly believe that Taylor (or anyone on here, for that matter) should be looking to achieve either of those things next season?

I'm not sure I agree with this line of thinking. How would it be more sustainable if we take our time to build our squad? If we can get the same squad acquired in a shorter amount of time, then surely that should be preferable?

Don't know why people are getting so uptight.

This is a Keegan team.

We will be aiming to win every game, and see where that policy takes us by the end of the season.

Was watching a few vids on the tube the other day :D

I'm excited about next season, even if we sign fuck all players from now until the end of the window. This is the biggest x-factor that has yet to be considered. No more Allardyce, no more Souness, no more Roeder. We'll play football and the players (even the shit ones) will buy into it. Hell, Alan Smith might even score.
